My stay at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas was fantastic. I was looking for a place that was easily accessible on foot with plenty of activities nearby, and this location delivered. The kiosk system for check-ins and check-outs was incredibly efficient. I appreciated the ability to pay for early check-in, explore room upgrade options, and receive room keys all through the kiosk—it was very convenient! The casino experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Even though I only played slot machines, there was never a dull moment. With so many engaging games to choose from, I discovered some new favorites. The bartenders were prompt and went the extra mile to craft a specific drink I requested. The room was spacious and comfortable. Upgrading for just $11 more per night was an excellent decision. The room boasted a stunning view, a generous tub and shower, and a large closet, which was very useful. Additionally, the ride share pickup and drop-off area was easy to find and use, with minimal waiting time.

From check-in to checkout, everything was great. The hotel boasts a prime location right in the middle of the Strip, providing easy access to all the hotels along the boulevard. However, parking is a bit inconvenient, situated about a 10-minute walk from the lobby. Our room included everything we needed and was both clean and comfortable.

This is my first time writing a review, but the service I experienced merits it. I chose Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for its great location and the positive feedback I'd heard. We arrived the day after Christmas, fully understanding the challenges the hospitality industry faces during this busy period, as I also work in the sector. Despite this, I was disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy; not once did staff offer a greeting or a smile. Our group, spread across six rooms, consistently encountered rude and unhelpful interactions. Simple questions were met with resistance, and there was a lack of clear communication from the staff. I'm not expecting five-star service, just a basic level of friendliness and human decency. Regardless of the room rates, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. It's simply not worth it.

The location of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas is excellent, with rooms that are clean and well-maintained. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. After paying for an upgrade, we were placed in a room that was not ready, yet they charged us $114 a night plus the resort fee. The phone was disconnected and removed from the wall, and our king-size bed had only two pillows instead of the expected four, clearly indicating the room was not prepared properly for guests. There were significant plumbing issues with a broken bidet and water shooting out from the toilet the following morning. Maintenance confirmed the issue was unfixable, and it required a personal visit to the front desk to address the situation. The initial offer was a compensation of one night's resort fee and a $70 late checkout fee, expecting us to stay in the faulty room. Upon negotiation, we were offered a room on the opposite side of the hotel without the fountain view we had paid for, at the same cost. Eventually, they moved us one floor up with a similar view, but it required repacking, during which a bottle of wine and a valuable item were lost. The whole experience made the $350 upgrade feel like a total waste. Despite some staff members, like Roberto, being courteous, the overall experience was disappointing, especially considering it was a first visit to Las Vegas. A return to Planet Hollywood is unlikely based on this experience.

The hotel is notably good, with rooms that are both spacious and well-designed. This place boasts a variety of amenities and attractions to cater to a wide range of preferences. Its prime location on the best part of the Strip ensures you're right in the heart of the action. The only challenge during the stay was navigating to the parking garage entrance and finding the way from the parking area to the lobby. Clearer signage could help alleviate this confusion.

Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas boasts a vibrant and energetic atmosphere with its Hollywood-themed decor and prime location on the Strip. The casino is bustling, and the diverse dining options cater to a variety of tastes. Rooms are modern and comfortable, although some may find them a bit small. The pool scene is lively, and the Miracle Mile Shops provide ample shopping and entertainment choices. However, service quality can vary, and the overall experience may feel somewhat overwhelming for some guests.
