The Scene Pool Deck at Planet Hollywood

The Scene Pool Deck at Planet Hollywood is a disappointment for anyone looking for a true resort pool experience. With one of the pools closed and both being on the smaller side, the area can quickly feel overcrowded. Additionally, the gambling tables and the flowrider were not even functioning during my visit. The overall condition of the pool deck is run down, and the fact that they charge for beach chairs is off-putting. In comparison, other true resort pools like Bellagio do not charge for chairs. Overall, the Scene Pool Deck at Planet Hollywood falls short of expectations for a resort pool.

Our trip to Planet Hollywood and Vegas was great overall, except for the Cabana rental at The Scene Pool Deck. We paid $500 for the day and expected more than just a covered area. We had to wait three hours for a waitress to finally come to our side of the pool, and even then, she made excuses about needing to eat due to medications. It was frustrating to have to walk to the bar ourselves when we were paying for a cabana with no perks included. Additionally, we were disappointed to find out that the adults-only pool was closed, meaning we had to choose a cabana at the general pool instead. Ultimately, renting a cabana here is expensive and offers little value for the money.

This pool deck at Planet Hollywood is without a doubt one of the most disappointing spots on the strip. The lack of available chairs and the requirement to rent them is already a major drawback. The pools themselves are unimpressive and lack any excitement, although there is a decent view of the Paris hotel. The large concrete sunbathing area doesn't add much to the overall appeal, coming across as uninviting and dull. Overall, it's hard to find any reason to recommend spending time at this pool deck.

The pool deck at Planet Hollywood is very upbeat and caters to a younger crowd. I had hoped to find a nice secluded spot to rest and relax, but that definitely wasn't happening unless I booked a cabana. If you like the loud music scene, then I'm sure you will have a good time.

The pool was closed before 5:30 in the middle of summer. We were looking forward to a quick dip to relax after walking the strip all day and when we get to the pool they say it's closed. The posted hours even said it should be open. But why are you closing at 5:30 when others are open until 10. I probably will not be staying at Planet Hollywood anymore after this fiasco.
