What I Liked Most
What I Disliked
During the summertime, the pool hours at Westgate Pool and Cabanas are from 10am to 7pm. If you plan on enjoying the pool, make sure to have dinner by 4pm. Check-out time is at 11am, but sometimes they may extend it to 12pm if you're lucky. Unfortunately, there is no free coffee or microwaves available, which can be disappointing considering other hotels like Motel 6 or Super 8 offer these amenities. At $140 a night, I regret not staying somewhere else.

What I Disliked
The bed at Westgate Pool and Cabanas is extremely comfortable and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, it was disappointing not to have a microwave in our room. We also experienced a lack of hot water in our shower, despite contacting the front desk twice and being assured that maintenance would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, two days later, the problem still had not been fixed. Additionally, our friends encountered the same hot water issue in their room. On a positive note, the housekeeping service was great. However, we did have to purchase soap from a nearby store to wash our hands as there was none provided in the room. If these issues were addressed, this hotel would easily be a 5-star establishment. A hot shower is a must-have!

Avoid staying at Westgate Pool and Cabanas in Las Vegas at all costs. The Central tower was riddled with issues during my stay: 1. The heater in the room did not work 2. The water temperature was below average and when I called the front desk for assistance, they made me wait for an hour and showed no sense of urgency or empathy 3. There was no desk or chair in my room 4. Limited wall sockets and extension cords provided 5. Dim lighting with only two table lamps and one tower lamp 6. Bathroom water leakage throughout the night 7. No soap provided in the shower While the hotel's location next to the monorail is convenient, the lack of proper amenities and poor service means that this hotel does not live up to any star rating. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Pros of Westgate Pool and Cabanas include the convenient location, comfortable beds, high pressure showers, quiet rooms, and a nice gym. Free parking is also a bonus. However, there are some cons to keep in mind. The rooms are old and dated, there is nowhere to place toiletries in the shower, the price is a bit high for a mid-range hotel, and it is away from the main action of Las Vegas. Some may view the distance from the hustle and bustle as a positive aspect. Overall, I would consider staying at Westgate Pool and Cabanas again if I could get a discounted room rate. Paying over $200 a night is too much for the quality of the accommodations.
