Sid's Café, located in the Westgate Hotel and Resort, left much to be desired. Although the café boasts an appealing atmosphere, the culinary experience did not justify the steep prices. The dishes we tried were disappointing in flavor and lacked the high quality one would anticipate from a restaurant at a notable resort. While the presentation of the meals was acceptable, the taste did not impress. The food seemed bland and uninspired, as if the ingredients were neither fresh nor prepared with care. Considering the cost, I expected better in terms of flavor and portion size. It's disheartening to leave feeling dissatisfied, especially at a venue that positions itself as upscale. Although the staff was courteous, their service wasn't enough to redeem the subpar meal. I wouldn’t advise dining at Sid's Café if you’re looking for a meal worthy of its price. Las Vegas has many other restaurants that provide both excellent value and delicious food.

Sid's Café at the Westgate Hotel and Resort was a letdown. While the ambiance is inviting, the food did not meet expectations, especially given the high price point. The dishes ordered lacked flavor and quality, which you would anticipate from a restaurant in such a well-known resort. Although the presentation was decent, the taste did not deliver. The food appeared bland and uninspired, as if the ingredients weren't fresh or carefully prepared. Considering the price, more was expected in terms of both taste and portion sizes. Leaving a restaurant feeling unsatisfied at an establishment that markets itself as upscale is frustrating. While the service was polite, it couldn't compensate for the disappointing food. Sid's Café is not recommended for those seeking a meal that justifies the cost. Las Vegas offers many other dining options that provide better value and more flavorful experiences.

This was my first time in Vegas, staying at the Westgate. A friend and I decided to eat at Sid's Cafe, and even though it was close to closing time, we were graciously seated and allowed to order. Rome, our server, was fantastic and very hospitable. We both had the quesadilla, which was absolutely delicious. Coming from Texas, I found this quesadilla to be a delightful twist on what I'm used to. On our last day, Stephanie was our server and she was exceptionally kind. Our breakfast was excellent.

We visited Sid's Cafe to celebrate their 55th anniversary with the 55 cent cocktails. I initially expected a fancy setting, but it wasn't as upscale as anticipated. Despite being the only ones in line, the hostess seemed irritated and reprimanded us for standing at the podium instead of the designated queue. After a 5-minute wait in the queue, we were seated in a restaurant that was only half-full. Service was initially slow, taking about 10 minutes before anyone attended to us. However, the waitress was very attentive and kind, and the busser/drink deliverer, Elmer, was exceptionally friendly and even joked with us. Elmer definitely deserves 10 stars for being a highlight of our meal. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken with fries for $20, while my companion opted for the Chef Special, which included a salad, prime rib, potato, veggies, and cheesecake for $42. The salad came with the choice of ranch or blue cheese, but the waitress later mentioned a Caesar salad option, which my companion chose. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was underwhelming, consisting of a few cherry tomatoes, a tiny cucumber slice, wilted lettuce, and a side cup of dressing. Not impressive, and it dampened our anticipation for the entrees. To our pleasant surprise, the entrees arrived on time and were fantastic! My companion raved that the prime rib was among the best ever tasted. My Nashville Hot Chicken was very spicy, but the perfectly creamy slaw balanced the flavors wonderfully. The fries, usually not my favorite, were cooked to perfection and excellently seasoned. The meal concluded with a delicious cheesecake topped with fresh berries, which was the perfect end to our evening. As for the 55 cent drinks, they contain about 1/4 shot of well liquor mixed with juice or cola. While the value matches the price, don't come here expecting great cocktails. In summary, both the food and service can be hit or miss. Prices are reasonable, but don’t expect a fancy ambiance; the place has more of a casual diner/cafeteria feel, lacking coziness or romance. Overall, the vibe is just "okay."

Sid's Cafe in Las Vegas is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a chat over a great cup of coffee. The servings are incredibly generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. While the service is fantastic, be prepared to be patient during busy times, as everything is made to order. From simple breakfast options to enormous sandwiches, fries, and coleslaw, every meal is delicious. Plus, if you have a players card, you may even be able to get your meal comped depending on your play. Just remember to tip your servers well, as they work hard to provide a great experience. Cheers from Texas!
