I was in the mood for Italian cuisine, and this place absolutely delivered. Their slogan, "99% Italian, 100% would be Italy," truly reflects their authenticity. The lasagna arrived fresh from the oven in its own mini cast-iron skillet, loaded with meat, sauce, cheese, and homemade noodles. One slight observation was a hint of an unusual smell from the cheese, reminiscent of a marker, but it tasted perfectly fine—most likely just due to the type of cheese used. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, simple and plain. The sauce was superb, with a perfect blend of spices and garlic. Naturally, the noodles were homemade! The bruschetta offered a unique twist. Instead of the usual toppings on toasted bread, everything was presented like a charcuterie board: halved tomatoes with basil and vinaigrette, cheese, and a strawberry jam-like spread. It might sound like an odd combination, but combined on a piece of bread, it was heavenly! The table bread was incredibly soft on the inside with a lightly crunchy crust, fresh from the oven. While the oil and pesto dip could use a bit more garlic and pesto, it was still delicious! One minor downside was the unfiltered water, but with a few drops of lemon, it was quite manageable. In short: Definitely eat here!

I was in the mood for some Italian cuisine, and Fresco Italiano did not disappoint. Their slogan, "99% Italian... 100% would be Italy," rings absolutely true. The lasagna came in a mini cast-iron skillet, freshly baked and brimming with meat, sauce, cheese, and homemade noodles. There was a slight hint of an unusual smell from the cheese, but it didn’t affect the taste at all – likely just the type of cheese used. The Fettuccine Alfredo was simply outstanding. The sauce had a perfect blend of spices and garlic, and the homemade noodles were impeccable. The bruschetta surprised me. Instead of the usual toppings on toasted bread, it was presented almost like a charcuterie board. It featured halved tomatoes with basil leaves and a vinaigrette drizzle, cheese, and a strawberry jam-like spread. It might sound like an odd mix, but combining everything on a piece of bread was heavenly. The table bread was superb – soft on the inside with a slightly crunchy exterior, fresh from the oven. The oil and pesto dip, though tasty, could have used a bit more garlic and pesto for my liking, but it was delicious nonetheless. The only downside was the unfiltered water. Adding a few drops of lemon made it manageable. In summary: YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!

Dropped by Fresco Italiano at the Westgate Hotel after catching a show. Having walked past this place several times, I'm pleased I finally had the chance to dine here. It's surprisingly spacious inside. We were seated in a comfortable booth along the wall. The service was attentive and friendly. Food highlights: - Meat Lasagna - Bruschetta and Burrata Board The lasagna was packed with flavor and incredibly cheesy. The bruschetta was just as tasty, and the creamy burrata was a delightful touch. A great spot that I look forward to visiting again.

Fresco Italiano at Westgate is truly a hidden gem! We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a place to eat during March Madness and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The focaccia bread was out of this world - warm, fluffy, with a slight crunchiness on the outside. The charcuterie board was a must-try, with the basil-infused oil pairing perfectly with the ricotta salata. The figs, tomatoes, and balsamic added a great variety of flavors. The minestrone soup was exactly what I needed, with a flavorful broth that was soothing to the stomach. The butternut squash ravioli was a standout dish, with a decadent sauce that perfectly complemented the pasta. We also enjoyed beverages from the bar, which were reasonably priced. Our bill came out to around $100, excluding tip. Overall, Fresco Italiano at Westgate exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return for the high-quality food options. While Westgate may not have fancy decor, the food quality makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit!
