I was disappointed with my experience at Public House in Luxor in Las Vegas. My group ordered the barbecue ribs, Caesar salad, and French fries. The Caesar salad was mediocre, and the French fries were undercooked and not appetizing. The ribs seemed to have been boiled, baked, and then quickly grilled with barbecue sauce. They were tough and lacked flavor. The only enjoyable dish was a small cup of kale coleslaw with root vegetables. When I brought up my disappointment to the manager, he insisted the ribs were freshly smoked that day, but there was no evidence of that in the taste or texture. To make matters worse, I encountered a vomiting guest in the restroom, and when I tried to speak to the hotel manager, my concerns were ignored. The ribs were dry, stringy, and unappetizing. If a restaurant specializes in just a few dishes, they should excel at them. I doubt Public House has a smoker on-site, and they need to improve the quality of their food and kitchen staff. As a chef myself, I believe in using quality ingredients and taking pride in every dish. I will not be returning to Luxor this year due to this disappointing dining experience. I urge Public House to reevaluate their menu and culinary team to provide a better dining experience for their guests.
Pros of Westgate Pool and Cabanas include the convenient location, comfortable beds, high pressure showers, quiet rooms, and a nice gym. Free parking is also a bonus. However, there are some cons to keep in mind. The rooms are old and dated, there is nowhere to place toiletries in the shower, the price is a bit high for a mid-range hotel, and it is away from the main action of Las Vegas. Some may view the distance from the hustle and bustle as a positive aspect. Overall, I would consider staying at Westgate Pool and Cabanas again if I could get a discounted room rate. Paying over $200 a night is too much for the quality of the accommodations.
The Prime Rib Dip sandwich at Tom's Urban in Las Vegas is absolutely incredible. It is definitely worth a visit just for that dish alone. While the bacon avocado burger and spinach artichoke dip were not particularly outstanding, they were still tasty. Our server, Eric, was exceptional. He provided great suggestions and had a welcoming and personable attitude, making our dining experience fun and engaging. Thank you, Eric!
I have been a frequent visitor to this hotel for years and unfortunately, have had the same experience with the bartender. Despite my loyalty and regular visits, he has never recognized me. This has definitely impacted my overall experience at the hotel. While I love staying here, I have to deduct 2 stars solely because of this issue with the bartender. It's a shame that this one individual has soured my experience at an otherwise great hotel.
Mama Rabbit Mezcal + Tequila Bar is a vibrant and trendy spot located inside the Park MGM. The bar offers live music, salsa dancing, and a beautiful ambiance filled with colorful decor. It's a fun place to enjoy good drinks and have a great time.
The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas is a fantastic place to spend time. Whether you're on your own, with family, or with a partner, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The variety of restaurants offer delicious food options. The Ferris wheel provides a fun way to take in the sights of Vegas. Treat yourself to some ice cream or candy from the shops, or grab a drink at the Irish pub. And with shopping options nearby and the sphere just a stone's throw away, there's plenty to see and do in this bustling area.
The chicken at The Crack Shack in Las Vegas was fantastic – thick and crunchy crusted, some of the best I've ever had. We ordered the whole bird, which was enough to feed four people. The sandwiches were also delicious, as were the seasoned fries. However, I wasn't a fan of how all the items were priced separately – it would have been better if the sides were included with the main dishes, especially considering the high prices. Overall, it was a great experience, but not something I would necessarily return to regularly.
