The Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Las Vegas is a one-of-a-kind experience, featuring a collection of artifacts that were thought to be lost forever. The exhibit showcases items recovered from the ocean floor as well as meticulously recreated pieces. While the exhibition does come with a higher price tag, the opportunity to see these historical treasures up close is truly worth it.
First time at Nine Fine Irishmen and it was a great experience. The prices were a bit high, but the portion sizes were huge - we could barely finish our meals. The chicken sandwich looked much better in person than in the photo. My wife loved the bread pudding. Our waitress had been at the restaurant for over 20 years and was delightful to talk to about Vegas and the restaurant.
Greek Sneek in Las Vegas is a decent spot for Greek cuisine, although its location within Crush restaurant is a bit unconventional. The menu is somewhat limited and they do not currently offer Greek beers despite having them on the menu. The food and service were satisfactory, as was the seating. The music was a tad loud, but overall it was an enjoyable dining experience. On the Five Quahog Rating Scale, we give it 3.5 clams.
I had booked two rooms at Horseshoe Las Vegas three months in advance, specifically requesting connecting or adjoining rooms. Despite it being a weeknight stay with no major events going on, I was forced to use an automated check-in kiosk. I had doubts about the kiosk's ability to address my unique request, but was assured it could handle any issues. Unfortunately, the kiosk ended up assigning my two requested connecting rooms on different floors. After waiting in line to speak to a staff member, I was told that no connecting rooms were available. However, they were able to at least locate both rooms on the same floor. One of the rooms had a strong smell, as if it had been used as a smoking room despite being labeled as non-smoking. The front desk's solution was to have housekeeping spray air freshener. Additionally, the second room had no toilet paper in the bathroom. After contacting housekeeping, it took four hours and a second call to finally receive the needed supplies. Although I had paid extra for a south-facing room with hopes of a fountain view and to avoid noise from Flamingo Rd, the view turned out to be a rooftop and parking garage. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable. However, based on my experience, I would not choose to stay at Horseshoe Las Vegas again, as there are better options available within the same price range.
