I must admit, I was disappointed with my experience at Pasta Cucina at Sunset Station last night. This restaurant is usually one of my favorites, and I frequent it often during my stays at the hotel. My partner and I enjoy the food and have always had positive interactions with the staff. We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before their late night happy hour was set to end. The bartender seemed overwhelmed and made it clear that they would be closing soon. Despite his rushed attitude, we quickly placed our order to accommodate their schedule. The food, as always, was delicious, but we felt pressured to eat quickly as the bartender was clearly ready to leave. We ended up taking most of our meal back to our room to finish later. I believe that if a restaurant advertises happy hour until close, customers should be made to feel welcome regardless of the time they arrive. While I will definitely return to Pasta Cucina in the future, I will likely avoid sitting at the bar if this particular bartender is working. It's unfortunate that one person's attitude can impact the overall dining experience. I hope that future visits will be more pleasant and relaxed.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. It's become a tradition for us to visit every time we're in town, and each visit gets better and better. The fresh bread and butter at the start is always a pleasant surprise. We shared a Caesar salad, and my companion indulged in the chicken fettuccine Alfredo (their go-to choice), while I couldn't resist the calamari appetizer. Despite filling up on bread, salad, and delicious calamari, I couldn't resist ordering the balsamic chicken pizza. It was truly amazing. We ended up taking some home because we were too full to finish it all. The next morning, my companion enjoyed the remaining pasta for breakfast. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The kitchen staff at Pasta Cucina really delivered, despite being busy. The timing between courses was just right, giving us time to chat. The food was delicious, the drinks were on point, and the service was excellent. We shout out Debra for taking care of us!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this restaurant. We come every time we are in town and enjoy it more each time. Fresh bread and butter to start is always a delight. We shared a Cesar salad, and my husband enjoyed chicken fettuccine Alfredo (his favorite) while I devoured a calamari appetizer (my favorite). I forgot that bread, salad, and all those yummy calamari leggies fill me up, so I ordered the balsamic chicken pizza. Delicious. My boys finished off the pizza, and my husband enjoyed his pasta for breakfast. Highly recommended!

The "pantry chef" was overbooked with orders. Because of this, the food was served with perfect timing, allowing us to talk between courses. Great food, great drinks and great service. Thanks Debra!
