Even though I didn't buy anything because everything is very expensive, just seeing this place and taking in all the sights is worth 5 stars. The Forum Shops is full of high-end retail stores including Versace and Louis, but they also have a lot of restaurant options and beautiful architecture throughout. If you are in Caesars Palace and wanting to get to the strip, then simply follow the signs in the Forum Shops and it will drop you off right on the strip. Much better than walking out the front doors where all the valets and taxis are.
One of my friends is a Vegas local and took a group of us to Town Square. It's off the strip, but a really fun and relaxing place to do a little shopping and eat. It's also a nice break to get away from the strip crowds and enjoy a more local attraction. The restaurants looked really good and the menus were reasonably priced at around $20 per meal.
This was my first time dining at Lakeside at Wynn and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I had the halibut, which I must say was cooked to perfection and probably the best I've ever had. The wait staff attentive, so pleasant and even fun. The chef also sent over a nice surprise both before and after dinner. I will be going back there, next time I'm at the Wynn.
3 okay drinks plus tax and tip came to around $100. One of the drinks was a standard vodka and cranberry juice that tasted no better than the free drinks they give to slot players. The atmosphere was cool, but I would recommend walking on by and finding a cheaper drink elsewhere.
A much smaller venue than I expected and most of the time my thought was "What the hell is going on?". There's a little bit of comedy, a few stunts, and some scandalous acts, but it just felt all over the place. It kept us all entertained, but not something I will rush to see on future visits.
