My dining experience at Lucky Penny in Las Vegas was overall enjoyable. I ordered the turkey dinner which included mashed potatoes, gravy, yams, green beans, and pumpkin cheesecake. The food was mostly served at the right temperature, although the stuffing was not as warm as I would have liked. Our server was efficient and friendly. The cafe had a nice upgraded atmosphere with decorative elements like bling, paintings, fabric drapery, and fresh flowers. It added to the overall ambiance of the dining experience.
I've visited Village Pub and Cafe twice now. The first visit was enjoyable, despite a bit of a wait to be seated. The prime rib and fish and chips were delicious and well-priced. I was tempted to order the prime rib again. However, on my second visit almost a year later, I arrived too late for the prime rib special which ended at 11pm. We opted for the $10 steak and eggs and the cheeseburger instead. The food took a while to arrive and the steak was mediocre, but understandable given the price. The cheeseburger was decent, with a juicy patty and lots of greens, though it could have used a different sauce than just ranch. The steak fries were undercooked. I plan on returning, but next time I'll make sure to arrive earlier in the evening.
Consistently enjoyable experience at Sam's Town Hotel Bowling Center. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff are generally pleasant. However, the bartenders could use some improvement in their customer service skills as one incident left a bit of a sour taste. Nevertheless, the Christmas decorations add a festive touch to the overall ambiance of the venue.
