I had high expectations for Oscar's based on the glowing reviews from Vegas locals. The restaurant boasts a stunning view of Fremont Street, which added to the overall ambiance. Despite visiting on a Friday evening before New Years, the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. However, I was a bit disappointed by the long wait for our food, especially considering it's a premium steakhouse. The Lobster Bisque was absolutely delicious and definitely a highlight of the meal. The Chopped Salad was also good, but the sides were underwhelming and not worth the price. The Prime Rib portion was massive, double what you'd typically receive at other restaurants. I would recommend skipping the sides and opting for a salad or appetizer instead when ordering your entree. One downside was that we were double charged on our bill, so I would advise checking your final total carefully. The service, in general, could have been better. Overall, Oscar's didn't quite live up to the hype for me.
