This was such a fun experience. For any fan of Old Vegas this is a must. When I was 4 and 10 my parents took me to Las Vegas ... both as road trips to California from the Midwest. 1974 and 1980.
To see these signs which once majestically graced downtown and the Strip brought back so many memories. Vegas was a more simple era and time back then. At night these relics lit up Vegas in the most amazing way.
One tip ... while waiting for your tour across the street make sure you read the placards on the items in the waiting area. They reveal where the letters for the graveyard marquee came from.
