Amazing crepes at La Creperie in the Paris Hotel. The atmosphere feels like a quaint Parisian shop, creating a lovely setting to enjoy your meal. It's not a fancy dining experience, but the crepes are absolutely delicious. It's a must-stop spot that won't disappoint. Don't forget to mention Barsnobs when you order!
I recently dined at Zen Kitchen for both dinner and breakfast the following day. As the only full service restaurant at the WA, I was impressed with the impeccable service. However, I found the food to be lacking in flavor. For dinner, I ordered the wagyu strip which was cooked perfectly but ultimately tasteless. The maitake mushrooms with teriyaki sauce were overly sweet and did not complement the steak. The wine and dessert were the highlights of the meal. The sashimi plate was decent, but not up to the standards I expected from the WA. The next morning, I tried the steak and eggs. The dish was poorly plated and unappetizing. Once again, the wagyu beef was lacking in flavor despite my efforts to season it. The Chino Valley eggs were the only standout element of the dish, with a rich and flavorful yolk. Overall, while I appreciate Zen Kitchen's attempt to let the true taste of the ingredients shine through, I found the lack of flavor to be disappointing.
Recently dined at Victory Burger on Fremont Street for a late-night meal. Ordered an original cheeseburger with all the toppings and waffle fries. The food arrived promptly and I must say, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The claim to having the best waffle fries ever is almost accurate! The only downside was that the bacon on my companion's burger was undercooked. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service from the gentleman who served our food and cleared our table. He was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I regret not getting his name so that management could commend him. I will definitely be returning to Victory Burger next time I'm in Vegas!
