Had a great dinner with friends at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez. Our friend from Mexico recommended some delicious dishes for us. The only downside was that the bill was brought to us without us asking for it. We visited on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not very busy.
We booked a stay at The Mirage mainly for the pool, but were disappointed to discover upon arrival that it is closed until April 8th. Despite checking online before booking our trip, we found out that the pool was unexpectedly closed. We ended up having to purchase tickets for Mandalay Bay instead, which we now realize we should have just booked our stay at in the first place.
I have been a loyal member of Station Casinos since 2003 and have spent a significant amount of money at Santa Fe Station since the beginning of the year. Despite my efforts to reach out to the casino host and bar managers, I have consistently been disappointed with the level of service I have received. No matter how much money I spend or gamble at this establishment, I am consistently treated as if I am just another customer. The bartenders have strict rules about when they can comp drinks, and even after spending $500 and waiting with my "green light" on for 25 minutes, I was still denied a complimentary drink. I would advise others to avoid wasting their time and money at the pool at Santa Fe Station. The management does not seem to care about their loyal customers, and despite multiple complaints, my experience has not improved. Save yourself the frustration and consider visiting other local bars or casinos like Red Rock, Palace Station, Green Valley, or Sunset Station instead. It's disappointing to feel so undervalued at a place where I have been a customer for so many years.
During my recent trip to Las Vegas, I dined at Ri Ra Las Vegas multiple times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, making it a great spot to watch a game. The food exceeded my expectations, with the side Caesar salad being a standout dish. The fish and chips, Irish breakfast, shepherd’s pie, and curry chicken were all delicious choices. Overall, Ri Ra Las Vegas has become my top restaurant on The Strip. Highly recommend checking it out.
