The Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art in Las Vegas is a hidden gem with a large and well-utilized gallery space that showcases diverse collections of artists' work. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, featuring artists from various backgrounds and perspectives. As the only art museum in Las Vegas, the museum has a strong connection to the community and region. During my second visit after four months, I was impressed by the consistently high-level artists and thought-provoking exhibitions on display. The staff at the museum is friendly and helpful, and there is a small sitting area with chairs where visitors can relax, read books connected to the exhibitions, or simply take in the artwork on display. Overall, the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art is a critical cultural asset to the community and is definitely worth a visit.

Our visit to Big Sur Oyster Bar was fantastic from start to finish. Yoshi provided excellent and efficient service, and the hostess was welcoming. The deep-fried oysters were a delicious and satisfying appetizer. The shrimp Caesar salad was full of flavor, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The fish and chips were light and crispy, with just the right amount of batter. The condiments were plentiful and generously provided. The chefs were professional, well-groomed, and kept a clean kitchen. It was an all-around great dining experience.
