Great location in the Underground of MGM Grand. Beautiful hotel. Delicious food. Get to watch your pizza 🍕 get cooked with all your favorite toppings. Staff was friendly..service was quick. 💯% recommend
Incredibly overpriced and just not what the course used to be. It’s sad because the Dye Design (PB, not Pete) at one time was a blast to play: crazy tight fairways, some excellent green complexes, and a fair value. Those days are long gone as the golf explosion continues to raise the prices, and golf courses that are nowhere near the value they are charging are taking advantage. I will give Desert Pines a little credit for redoing the greens. If they can keep them firm and fast, it will be a lot better when springtime conditions roll around. But, for the time being, there is just way better golf to play in Vegas. I would have loved to see Desert Pines find some way to incorporate lights into the course. With such a small property and so many holes running alongside one another (you will have people playing a different hole on your fairway, that’s a given), it would have been a fun place to play at night during the high summer temps. It sucks the Vegas Valley is losing another course, but if I’m being honest, this one is not going to be missed. I also want to say that Joe, aka HittinGreens, is a HUGE fan of this place, and it’s why I’ve added a star to the ranking. Some enjoyment can be found on the course; that’s a given. But as I compare it to how it was just 5-6 years ago, it’s sad to see it how it’s being managed now.
