I have dined at Hanks in nearly 100 times over the years. I am sad to have to write a 2-star review.
First off, the front hostess area was 5-star as always. They greeted you and made you feel welcome. The waiters and staff were also 5-star as always. What has dramatically deteriorated is the food, and the prices for less quality.
The shrimp cocktail used to be the best in town. Very large, firm, fresh and dry. Now they are the same size as everywhere else. They were wet, nearly slimy, and very common.
My medium steak was barely warm. It seemed that it was cooked a while ago and sat while other items were prepared for the table.
Prices have increased 3 times on some of my favorite menu choices and quality has dropped.
Very clean, nicely kept.
Lifeguards on duty during pool hours
Two weeks in a row the venue was either overbooked or not booked correctly. The earlier events ran late, thus causing people to have to wait for their event/show to begin an hour late .I would say to the organizers to get it together .if you have a UFC fight and can't predict the outcome. Book the next act later. Waitresses and staff were wonderful and professional. It's inconvenient to be an hour late though.
Its a bar in the casino. There are two. Nothing to write home about. The one by the band's and music is much better. This is good if you can't get a girl to give you a drink you go there.
Top notch. Great food, service and so nice to look out the big windows to the green outdoors.
I've been here 2 times in the last month! I always have a good time! Great food and drinks! And the music they play is top notch! The last 2 times I was there our servers were Bianca and Dan and both were great! If you're a beer lover, then this is the place to go.
Love this place! The bartenders are amazing! Amber and Jimmy are amazing! Definitely will return!
Really fun experience! If you come around 6-7 PM each day they have a happy hour deal where instead of paying $85, you pay $68. This is for the “learn to fly” package which is not the same as the other package which is $149. The “Learn to Fly” package is pretty good. They give you a 4 minute video to watch and then review after and then get you ready to fly. It was really fun, but my back hurt because my posture wasn’t the best. But that’s part of the fun!
Such a great experience! Veronica was absolutely amazing! We were thrilled when we saw Bell's on the menu (Kalamazoo born and raised but living in California). Our food came out quickly and was delicious! We will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit!
Great courses the greens were really nice considering aeration 4 weeks prior. Fairways were generous to what I usually play.
Conditions on the day we played were challenging to say the least, 20 to 30+ mph winds, not usual. About 10-15 strokes for slightly better than what I would consider an average golfer. If you have more than 15 handicap and winds are 20 plus, save money and find something else to do.
Still all in all a good time. Great staff!
