Cascata Golf Club is a stunning course with breathtaking vistas in every direction. Nestled in the desert with mountain views, this course is a true gem. While it may be on the pricier side, the experience and challenging gameplay make it worth it. The layout of the holes is spacious, but the journey between them is rewarding. The staff is professional, the caddies are knowledgeable, and the clubhouse offers delicious food. I highly recommend playing a round at Cascata Golf Club.
Upon arrival at Rosina in Las Vegas, the host promptly took my credit card and presented me with a $100 minimum charge bill to sign without prior notice. Although I felt hesitant, I went ahead and signed it to avoid any confrontation. When I requested water, I was informed that it was only available for purchase, with Fiji water priced at $8 per 300ml bottle as noted online. The drinks were lackluster and considerably overpriced, with a value of no more than $15 per drink. To top it off, I was surprised to see a $5 service fee on my bill, in addition to the expectation of a 20% tip. Despite my initial luck in securing a same-day reservation, it became apparent why the establishment was only half full on a busy Saturday night. The eagerness to extract money from patrons borders on exploitation.
I enjoy visiting South Point in Las Vegas because it is away from the Strip. The rooms are comfortable and there are plenty of dining options available. The pool is large and not too deep, making it a great spot to relax and cool off.
This was my fourth visit to the Waldorf Astoria Spa in Las Vegas and I noticed some changes post-COVID and renovations, but overall it was a familiar experience. 1. The Sky Bar, now called the Hotel Bar, no longer accepts reservations which can make it a bit challenging to visit. There wasn't a line after 10:30pm, but it was close to last call so ordering food and drinks promptly is recommended. 2. Unfortunately, the Zen Kitchen also no longer takes dinner reservations. While the sushi rolls were still delicious, some appetizers seemed to have shrunk in size. The pork belly dish, priced at $25, only came with three pieces. 3. The room and services were just as excellent as before COVID. We appreciated the daily cleaning service and complimentary water. However, there were some issues with the control panel for lights, sheets, and drapes. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade? Despite these changes, the Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas remains our go-to hotel when visiting the city.
Vdara is a stunning hotel in Las Vegas. The suite set up and lack of a casino made our stay comfortable with our children. The staff was top-notch with excellent service from valet, room service, spa, and gym. While breakfast in the lobby was pricey, it's to be expected on the Strip. We are already thinking about our next stay at Vdara.
The accommodations at Le Boulevard Shops in Las Vegas were stunning and generously sized. Having a coffee machine in the room was a great added convenience. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. lol.
My partner and I took a CCW class at The Range 702 and we were pleasantly surprised by how great it was. The instructors, Sarge, Steph, and Frank, were not only knowledgeable but also very engaging. The amount of information we learned was well worth the cost of the class. They were attentive and gave us great advice. Even if you have little experience, they will make you feel comfortable and confident. I highly recommend this class!
The burgers at Shake Shack in Las Vegas are really delicious! I tried the shack stack and it was so filling that I couldn't finish it. The mushroom patty was especially tasty. The fries were also good, but they may be overwhelming if you're not a fan of cheese. The staff provided good service as well.
LakeSide in Las Vegas offers a high-end culinary experience that comes with a hefty price tag, but the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. During a visit for a special occasion, my group of four indulged in a seafood tower, which was a generous starter filled with various shellfish, sauces, and seafood treats. It was so filling that my wife and I shared a delicious risotto, which the staff kindly split into two bowls for us. To top off the meal, we enjoyed an upside down cake that was incredibly sweet but tasty. The dining experience was elevated by the view of a waterfall visible from most tables, with videos playing every 30 minutes accompanied by music. The attention to cleanliness in both the dining area and restrooms was of a high standard, as expected at this upscale establishment. The staff were attentive and eager to assist, to the point where I joked about considering a restraining order, opting for more water instead. While a visit to LakeSide may require a monetary investment, the overall experience is well worth it for those looking for a memorable dining experience in Las Vegas.
