Check-in for the Hotel is 3pm and we arrived at 5pm. We were told our room will not be ready for another hour. We explained we were meeting family at 6:30 for dinner and needed to shower and change. The options we were given were downgrade to a smaller room and the $50 resort fee would be waived or upgrade to a larger room for $100 more per night plus $50 resort fee. Not much of an option. Next, the Sheet from the pull-out bed from the sofa had (I hope) just food stains and not blood that it looked like. Housekeeping came to our room at 10pm and changed everything out. Finally, the shower had a significant leak in the seal and flooded the bathroom. Maintenance was called and it was fixed. Rough experience. There are a lot of options in going to Vegas and we picked Red Rock because of a friend’s referral. The resort is beautiful, but the Hotel Staff/Manager at check-in made their fault our issue to resolve. I will say that the Spa is amazing and was the hit of the visit to Red Rock.
Friendly staff and a great vibe. Especially when it gets closed off. I was disappointed in the whiskey in paradise cocktail, like drinking mango puree. Would stop in again when taking a break from the floor. Pricing was on par with other lounges for a place like this. If you want cheap go to CVS ;)
Good location right on the strip, but terrible service and they try and rip you off. First, the bartenders pretend you're not there. Then, you know how your bill comes and there are suggested tip amounts? I had one drink for $9.75 and the suggested tip amount of '20%' was $5.18. Now I'm no genius, but I can tell you that $5.18 is over 50% of $9.75. I'm sure a lot of people, especially internationally, tip off that amount. It was at 0300 a.m., so maybe they thought I was drunk whereas I was stone cold sober.
Great place to see a movie. Big spacious seats, super clean. I wish the arm rest lifted, but still one of the best theatres i've ever been to.
