Nine Fine Irishmen in Las Vegas is an exceptional Irish pub experience. The attention to detail in the building is impressive, making it stand out from other pubs. The bangers and mash I ordered was delicious, and even the cabbage exceeded my expectations. My dining companion enjoyed the nachos, but the portions were very generous. The Blacksmith beer, a combination of two different beers, was a highlight for beer lovers. Overall, a fantastic experience for anyone who enjoys Irish pubs.
Service at Lanai Express is incredibly slow, with only one person working the counter and a line of 2-3 people usually waiting. The fried rice lacks flavor, and I believe it is missing shoyu. The sweet and sour pork and orange chicken were disappointing, as the orange chicken was hard. However, the shrimp cocktail was a standout item, despite being made with small shrimp. At only $1.99, it was the best part of the meal. I am hesitant to try anything else on the menu, as I don't want to waste my money on subpar food. I would recommend checking out other eateries in the Fremont area for better deals and tastier options.
I recently stayed at Silverton in Las Vegas and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, my suite was not ready despite checking in after the designated time. The front desk staff handled the situation well and offered me an upgraded suite, which I accepted. I enjoyed visiting the Aquarium and the Mermaid Lounge, both of which were entertaining. However, I found the casino area to be too dark for my liking. While I had a good time playing, I found that there were not enough cocktail servers around. Unfortunately, my stay was cut short due to a negative interaction with a cocktail server named Carin (or Karin). Her rudeness was a major turn-off for me, especially considering the price I was paying for the room. Overall, I will not be returning to Silverton in the future due to the poor customer service experience with Carin/Karin.
