The Las Vegas Natural History Museum was a fantastic way to spend the day. The Treasures of Egypt exhibit was particularly impressive, especially the artifacts from King Tut's tomb. There are countless fascinating areas to explore and tons of information to take in. I purchased tickets in advance, but it turned out that there was no line when I arrived. This could have been because I visited on a weekday.
Located in the charming Venetian shops, Smith & Wollensky in Las Vegas was a delightful surprise for my companion and me. We stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for a steakhouse during our stay at the Venetian and were impressed by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with exceptional service and a wide range of culinary options. Our server, Eric, impressed us with his knowledge of meats and his longtime experience at Smith & Wollensky. We trusted him with our steak preferences, and he provided a captivating demonstration as he expertly carved our meats at the table. The restaurant's prime location overlooking the scenic Venetian canal added to the experience. We were lucky to secure a table by the window, offering stunning views of the tranquil waters. The elegant and sophisticated interior of the restaurant complemented the delicious food perfectly. Surprisingly, the prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the cuisine and service. Smith & Wollensky has earned a devoted fan in me, and I look forward to returning whenever I am in Las Vegas again.
Beerhaus in Las Vegas is a great spot to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy some games. The service is top-notch. The ribs were good, though they could have been more tender and flavorful. The Texas toast that came with them was fluffy and delicious. Everything fried was perfectly crispy and seasoned well. Surprisingly, the fried string beans stole the show, even for someone who doesn't typically enjoy string beans. Highly recommend trying them out. Overall, a solid choice for a fun night out.
