When you come to Vegas you gotta stop here. So many cool things to see and so many places to take pictures. It was a great experience with our son. I think his favorite part will be the gift shop but who's isn't..lol I definitely recommend stopping by.
The hotel room was trendy with the comfiest bed! The bathroom is stocked well with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Love that! Sadly, the fridge didn't work and the WIFI wouldn't connect to my phone the entire trip. It is important to note that this hotel felt a bit more like a party hotel. The pool is adult-only and the music is blaring. The lobby and elevator area's are very busy. The food options in the hotel are limited to grab and go style, for the most part. The restaurants in the promenade have a bit more variance, but you have to leave the hotel. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and paid to get on a early check in list. We were able to hold our bags at the concierge desk and explored in the meantime. This hotel is great though for the price, as long as you are aware of the above ahead of time. Don't expect to relax by the pool.
It has finally come into play again, great to have the old nostalgia return
Shake Shack has a great tasting burger—I got the double Shack Burger which was juicy, cheesy, and flavourful with a great amount of sauce. I also got the cheese crinkle fries, but I would suggest holding the cheese if you don’t like a cheesy acquired taste. The service was really good and fast. All of the servers were friendly. There’s lots of seating inside and on the patio too.
Allergen warning: Many items have nuts. Inform the server and a chef will tour you around. Effectively I was advised to avoid all desserts, one shrimp dish, and the entire Asian menu. We arrived at 11AM on a Sunday and had about a ten minute line. The line nearly doubled by 11:30AM. I was able to load a MyVegas BOGO downstairs and use it with no issues (effectively $35 for two weekend brunch buffets). My experience at the Excalibur Buffet was pretty lackluster, overall. I started with some smoked salmon, which was dry on some pieces but perfect on others. I then waited in the omelette line. It took about ten minutes from ordering to receive the omelette as one of the induction stoves was malfunctioning. I got some Latin food (chips, guac, birria), some of the carving station meats, and finished with clam chowder, shrimp, and watermelon. Some general advice: -If the omelette line is more than five people long... Be prepared to wait. -Have to use the cashier line to apply any comps. -Self serve beverages are pretty great for a buffet. -All you can drink package is only a good deal if you drink three or more. Otherwise, go a la carte. Individual food review: -The omelette was loaded with a mountain of cheese and took a long time, but it was a 7/10. Very filling. -Bacon was average. -Chicken apple sausages were particularly dry with a starchy texture. -The clam chowder tastes like liquid salt and pepper and barely had any clam, and too much potato. -The carving station was a disappointment. It was told to me that they slow smoke the brisket for 12 hours, but it was one of the driest brisket I've ever had. -My partner got a bit sick eating the sushi. The fish seemed old and whatever they used for the sticky rice didn't taste right. If I were to go again, I would: -Stick with the smoked salmon. Put smoked salmon on your omelette, too. Add guac there too. -Get more shrimp -Eat some of the brunch (French toast and bacon) -Taste a little bit of whatever else I wouldn't come back at full price, especially since they aren't very allergen friendly.
Quick and delicious brunch! The chicken and waffles is a MUST try if you are coming for breakfast/brunch. If you fancy libations, the colossal Bloody Mary is great to share with a friend or two. The staff were super friendly. We came on a Wednesday and it was super busy with a pretty decent wait. I would recommend making a reservation.
did not go in me and frend have down sindrom and wanted to know if we would be allowed to go in a dwink beer but did not get anser to qwestion because fone call lady hung up
Came in with very high expectations and they lived up to them. The service was top tier and the best at any establishment I’ve been to. Big shout out to Troy. Made us feel very welcomed and was super attentive. The food was delicious. The spicy vodka rigatoni lived up to the hype and a must get. We got the meat balls and fettuccini as well and it was perfect. All the complimentary items are incredible as well. A must visit if you’re in Vegas.
