Outstanding show! Even with the absence of one of the Elvis impersonators, the performance was still incredible. A must-see for anyone visiting Las Vegas.
I found Truth & Tonic by chance while strolling through the Venetian and it was an unexpected delight! The frittata had a great texture that felt like real eggs, and each bite was delicious. The mushroom hummus sandwich was also fantastic, especially towards the middle of the sandwich. My only complaint was that the salt on the table was white, so I recommend bringing your own Himalayan or Celtic salt grinder for a better experience.
Blossom in Las Vegas is a beautiful restaurant with an authentic Chinese atmosphere. The service was great and very helpful, and the cocktails were delicious. However, the food was a bit disappointing. While some dishes were really delicious, others were similar to what you could find at any other Chinese American restaurant for a lower price. There were a lot of deep-fried dishes on the menu. I would recommend trying their goose liver and chocolate dessert. In comparison to the neighboring Lemongrass, I personally found that the food at Lemongrass was less greasy and more flavorful. However, that could just be a matter of personal taste.
Barry's Downtown Prime in Las Vegas was absolutely delicious. It was the best meal I had during my visit. Before dining at the restaurant, we enjoyed drinks at the Legacy Club. I ordered the bone in Ribeye with mashed potatoes, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The meal was served with a bottle of wine chosen by an actual wine sommelier. I highly recommend dining at Barry's Downtown Prime if you are visiting Las Vegas.
One of the perks of staying at The NoMad Hotel is exclusive access to their pool, which is not available to Park MGM guests. The pool is much less crowded compared to the Park MGM pools, providing a relaxing atmosphere with nice views of the City Center. A common issue at resort/hotel pools is the early morning towel-saving of pool chairs, which can be frustrating. It's also important to check the menu before ordering, as prices can be steep - I learned this the hard way after purchasing two large cocktails for $88 after tip. Always worth double-checking before ordering to avoid surprises.
The course condition at Las Vegas Golf Club is excellent for a municipal course. However, the pace of play was disappointingly slow. Fortunately, playing with some locals helped me navigate better. I felt like I could have received better value at a pricier course. Despite this, the price was affordable and the staff was friendly. In the future, I may opt to spend a bit more for a superior golfing experience.
