What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

I have seen multiple Michael Jackson tribute shows in Vegas, and this one stands out as the best, even surpassing the (disappointing) Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil. The show runs for 90 minutes, compared to the 60-minute show at MJ Live at Tropicana, and it was completely packed with enthusiastic fans. Starting with iconic Jackson Five songs and moving through the hits of the 80's and 90's, the show features three different impersonators who may not be the best lookalikes, but certainly deliver impressive dance moves. It's hard to determine if the performers are lip syncing or singing live, as they are equipped with mics and backed by a live band consisting of a keyboardist, bass player, guitarist, drummer, and around 10 backup dancers. One thing I appreciated was the convenience of the bar located in the lobby, which prevented disruptions from people moving in and out during the show, unlike at MJ Live. The drink prices were also very reasonable, ranging from $8-$12 for premium beverages. In my opinion, this show ranks as the top Michael Jackson tribute I've experienced in Vegas. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see it, especially since they have just secured a residency starting May 2023.

I absolutely loved the MJ LIVE show in Las Vegas. It was very fun and entertaining from start to finish. The main singer portraying MJ was excellent and put on a fantastic performance. The show was non-stop music, dancing, and overall great! I believe it was well worth the price of admission.

Attended the MJ LIVE show on 4/24/22 and was in awe at the front row. The performance was absolutely phenomenal! Each of the performers displayed complete enthusiasm for the dances and appeared to be genuinely having a great time, which really added to the magic of the show. I couldn't help but bop around and dance in my seat the entire time. After the show, I had the pleasure of meeting Off The Wall/Thriller MJ, who recognized me from the front row and gave me a big hug. Such a nice and sweet interaction! I highly recommend attending this show. To the performers: You all did a fantastic job! Keep up the amazing work. I'm sure MJ would be incredibly proud.

I've seen all of the Michael Jackson shows in Vegas. This one is the best one - including the (awful) Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil. This show is 90 minutes (MJ Live at Tropicana is 60 minutes) and the show was packed. Show starts out with Jackson Five songs, moves into the 80's and 90's. There are three different impersonators. While they aren't the best lookalikes, they have fantastic dance moves. I still can't tell if this show is lip syncing or actual singing. They have mics and a live band - keyboardist, bass, guitar and drums, and probably 10 backup dancers. The bar is in the lobby area so you won't have people criss-crossing your seat like at MJ Live. Drinks are SUPER affordable. $8-$12 for premium drinks! Out of all the MJ shows I've seen, this one is the best. Check it out because they were just picked up for a residency starting May 2023. What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

The dancers in the show do not represent the MJ branding or live up to the high energy performance expected. I was shocked to see the Jackson 5 performers were not African American, wore Afro wigs, and dark makeup to cover their non melanin skin. It was shocking and very disrespectful to the MJ brand and the Jackson Five. This is not something I can recommend supporting. The keyboard player was the only African American in the MJ Live Show. The dancers were not very good and the MJ impersonater was just ok. He added some dances that only PeeWee Herman has ever performed not MJ The show was like a poorly choreographed high school play. The producer and choreographer need to improve the integrity and quality of the show. They need to be sensitive to how African American are represented and create a more inclusive show.
