Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is truly a stunning place with both natural beauty and historical significance. The property is well-maintained and offers a unique and interesting experience. Despite being just a short drive from the Vegas strip, the park gives off a peaceful desert vibe that makes you feel like you are miles away from the city. There are several easy trails nearby that lead you through wooded areas, with the majestic red rock mountains always visible in the background. The park is also surrounded by beautiful Joshua Trees, adding to its allure. I did not personally experience any rude workers during my visit, in fact, everyone I encountered was very friendly, especially inside the historic house on the property.

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park in Las Vegas is truly a stunning destination with both natural beauty and historical significance. The property is meticulously maintained and offers a fascinating glimpse into the area's past. Despite being just a short drive from the Vegas strip, the park provides a sense of being lost in the expansive desert landscape. Visitors can explore a variety of small, easy trails that wind through wooded areas, with the majestic red rock mountains serving as a breathtaking backdrop. Surrounding the park are the iconic Joshua Trees, adding to the picturesque scenery. Contrary to some reviews, the staff at the park were incredibly friendly and welcoming, particularly inside the historic house on the property. A visit to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is a must for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty and history of the Las Vegas area.

This has become my favorite getaway place . The landscapes are breathtaking, you literally feel like you are somewhere very far away from Nevada. It has different trails & picnic areas. This place has so much history, definitely a must visit if you enjoy being in touch with nature.

Absolutely gorgeous state park with natural and historical significance. The property is very interesting and is well maintained. This is a very close drive from the Vegas strip, yet when you are here you feel like you are far out in open desert. There are several small and easy trails nearby that take you through wooded areas. Meanwhile the red rock mountains loom majestically int he background no matter where you are out. Surrounding this property are some beautiful Joshua Trees as well. I am not sure why there are reviews saying the workers here were rude, everyone here was so nice, especially inside the house.

Stunning views! If you're in Red Rock make sure you stop by. Friendly staff. Very informative. There's a natural aquifer there so the burros are always there. They come down to have their babies where it's safer and there's plenty of grass and water available. The babies are adorable! And during the summer there's the live theater that's fantastic!

A favorite park for the family with easy trails & open green space for picnics. It's just a calm, slow paced vibe here. I love the wild Burros, but I've also seen a coyote, hares, lizards, & tons of tiny toads. They also have yoga sometimes, guided hike adventures, & host super summer theater outdoor plays. I just keep coming back! Abundant, nice restrooms for a park too, plus a historical home to tour.
