This place is as good as the one at Palace Station, but without the waiting because they have much more seating. It probably helps that it is away from the tourists as well. We had the Seafood Combo Pan Roast along with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder and a half dozen Roasted Oysters. All three items were excellent and came out really quickly. We sat at the bar and the cook/bartender was friendly and attentive. I don't have much else to add. Like I mentioned up front, if you like the one at Palace Station, or even South Point, you'll like this one as well.
We didn’t spend too much time in the hotel, as we were out site seeing and such for the weekend. However, it was a very safe, clean and beautiful stay! I do have a few things I want to point out. I spent extra on a room with a “Mountain View” and got a stunning view of… the monorail walkway and elevators! Very disappointing. BUT we did have a good view of the top of the Stratosphere. We had no microwave, so left overs from the restaurants downstairs couldn’t be reheated. I like to take leftovers to my rooms, shower, get comfy and eat them. Cold chicken and rice just isn’t great. We walked in to only 2 bath towels, one hand towel and one floor towel for two of us. Each night while using the AC, our throats would close and our sinuses were feeling horrible. With the AC off or if we left the room we felt perfectly fine. Must be an air quality issue. Not to mention, if the AC was turned off it was insanely hot in the room. So each night we had to have the AC on or we woke up sweating. But my sister and I BARELY slept the whole trip due to having troubles breathing with the AC on. I called guest services to ask for some more towels and waters and when the gal showed up she seemed annoyed to have to bring towels. (Even though we were only given one towel per person) On check out day, we stood waiting for an elevator for about 15-20 mins. The escalators AND elevators to and from the monorail were broken. I sadly saw an elderly woman in a wheel chair struggle to find a way down to the hotel. Even though we had issues with the stay, we didn’t spend too much time in the hotel to care too much but I wanted to make sure I gave an honest review for those who are looking into this stay. It’s a beautiful hotel and I felt very safe here. If you’re not planning on staying in the hotel for long and choose to spend most of your time out on the strip, it’s a great stay! I want to HIGHLY recommend The Noodle Den!! Great food and fantastic customer service!! I don’t remember the name of our server but she was incredibly sweet and hilarious!
Horrible service. Late on opening doors. Then put both me & my daughter in same room. One person set their cell phone by my head and it kept going off. The two talk most of the time. Left room to get hot stones left the door open and stood in hallway talking. Took them 10min to get the stones which they went down my back twice and end of the so called stone massage. Did not make up the time they were late. Then when we left they demanded we pay them 25$ each or more for a tip. Do not waste your time. Spa...thats a joke to call this place a spa.
This place was fantastic. My wife and I came here on a whim after hanging out at Boca Park because we were just going to try a random restaurant in the Sun Coast casino since they have a few new ones. It was a great find. We got clams, oysters, gumbo and some shrimp and crab pasta. Everything was very well made. I want to come back and try the Lobster Roll too. Even the fish and chips looked good. We sat right at the bar so we got ro see the chef cool right in front of us. Makes your mouth water.
