My dining experiences at Robert Irvine's Public House in Las Vegas were consistently fantastic. The burger with bacon and loaded tots were personal favorites of mine, as well as the all-American breakfast featuring biscuits and gravy. I highly recommend dining at Public House when visiting the Tropicana. Additionally, the bartender Julian was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service.
I used my card to start a tab at Lift Bar. When I went to leave, I told the bartender I was closing my tab. They insisted they never saw my card and that I hadn't paid for anything. I showed them my Amex app, which clearly showed I had been charged for all the drinks I ordered. The situation was never resolved, my card was lost, and I felt embarrassed and ignored. Overall, my experience at Lift Bar was terrible and not what I had expected.
Marilyn's Cafe is a terrific spot for brunch. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, especially considering its proximity to the strip. The restaurant is well-maintained and offers plenty of space. The staff is friendly, efficient, and hospitable. I would definitely suggest checking this place out for a meal.
My experience at Electra Cocktail Club was less than ideal. Upon sitting at a table, we were informed of a $100 minimum, which we were willing to comply with. However, after providing our card, we were offered a free high top table instead and given our card back. Shortly after we moved, the table we initially sat at was reserved. We proceeded to order from the bar and observed other patrons at nearby high tops receiving multiple visits from staff. Despite being dressed nicely and polite, we felt ignored and had a negative energy surrounding us.
Playing at Cascata Golf Club was truly an unforgettable experience. The greens may look a bit patchy at first glance, but they are actually incredibly smooth and running at a speed of about 12 on the stimpmeter. The views from the course are absolutely breathtaking, and despite the challenging layout, we were able to complete our round in a timely manner at around 4 hours. I highly recommend not skipping out on this course if you are visiting Las Vegas. It's a fantastic place to tee off and enjoy a round of golf.
