I chose this place for my father’s birthday. We spent $400 here for decent food and mediocre service. I used to serve at a fine dining sushi restaurant and the food here had a more expensive price. I feel really let down and I don’t feel like our waiter really gave a sh** about us. However, we really enjoyed the oysters, since the presentation was amazing and they were pretty fat. We also enjoyed eating the Madai. Other than that, everything else was not worth it. Especially the Chicken Katsu. It was like a chicken meatloaf with truffles on top and it felt like they used old truffles that someone didn’t eat. Couldn’t even smell it or my nostrils are trash. My mother didn’t like the Miso Cod but I enjoyed the flavor since it tasted like Unagi. The service was soo serious and water wasn’t filled I gave them a good ten minutes until I had to ask for a refill. I’m sure there is great food there and good servers somewhere but that just wasn’t given to us. I usually give way over 20% and even felt bad to give 18%. If you go through my reviews I always give 5 star reviews, it wasn’t hard to deviate from that here. Good job on the atmosphere and presentation on all food was amazing though, I’ll give you 5 stars there!

My review is only for my experience to stay in the hotel, I don't gamble, and I can't say anything about it. Location wise just opposite side of MGM Grand and very close to the strip. It's on the cheaper side, we stayed there 1 night. First thing, I have to admit, the service we received from the lady at reception was excellent. Breakfast was included for 2 people, and she gave us two extra vouchers for the kids as well in the Hooters at downstairs. Kudos to them. The first room we've got was terrible, clearly very prominent Marijuana smell in the non-smoking room. Facet didn't have running water, bathtub was running very slow, only one closet door, stain on the iron board, open junction box between two beds. Called services and Mr. Juan came quickly to see the issue. He told me they needed to fix the pipes and will gonna take a few hours to complete. He asked us to go to the reception and ask for the different room. Reception quickly noted the issues and gave us the second room on the same floor. This room was way better. Bed was very comfortable, and we had a very good night sleep. Hotel rooms are definitely dated and need some upgrades. Downstairs restaurants, bar, pools, and casino seem nice. There is plenty of parking around.

This is our second time staying at the Sahara and we couldn’t wait to get back to the Tangier Bar simply because Alex is our favorite bartender ever. Ask him for an egg white delight and tell him Gabie sent you lol.

Dani was best most perfect bartender! She is beautiful and so sweet! She mixed an amazing drink for us!

My first experience at Boulder Station, Vinny the bartender at the sports book bar made my whole Vegas experience. Not only my drinks were amazing but his personality was beyond amazing. Thank you Vinny and your passion.

It was an absolute delight to grab a late meal here while visiting Vegas. I liked the casual laid back ambiance and the friendliness of the service we received. The oven baked pizza looked great and was absolutely delicious. A friend at the table did not enjoy his drink, but they do allow outside drinks so I won’t hold that against them.
