We ordered the 60oz tomahawk at Strip House Steakhouse and while it wasn't the absolute best steak we've ever had, it was tasty and definitely satisfied the rest of our table when their smaller filets weren't enough. The old fashioned cocktail was decent, but the real standout were the oysters - some of the best we've ever had. While there was a lot of hype around the duck fat potatoes and other dishes, we found them to be just okay. Overall, a satisfying meal with a few standout dishes at Strip House Steakhouse.
I've been to several bars on the strip and unfortunately, Gem Bar didn't meet my expectations. The bartenders, especially the older ones, were unfriendly and rude, which was disappointing. It's puzzling why MGM would hire and pay them well when there are friendlier options available. Despite my love for staying at Aria, I tend to steer clear of this bar. On a positive note, I had a pleasant experience with Frenchy today, who was attentive and welcoming.
Recently saw Opium in Las Vegas and I must say, it did not disappoint. The lead "robot" lady was absolutely hilarious and the other acts were also very impressive. We went on a Wednesday night and ended up with upgraded seats, although I don't think there is a bad seat in the house considering it's a smaller venue. Highly recommend checking out this show, as long as you have a good sense of humor and aren't easily offended. 😂
- 5 stars for The Ice Experience at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place in Las Vegas. It's definitely worth taking a tram ride to check out this unique attraction. The cold temperatures are worth it for the cool experience, and the drinks available were delicious too. It's a fun and surprising place to visit.
Amazing breakfast at Tilted Kilt in Las Vegas! The steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, the sausage was delicious, and the tater tots were the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this place for a tasty meal.
