Visited Aurora in Las Vegas around 1:30pm before the Super Bowl. A waitress approached me around 5:30-6:30pm to check my ID, even though no one else in my group was asked. Unfortunately, I had lost my ID earlier in the day, but I was not drinking, just watching the game. I explained the situation and offered to show photos of my other identification documents on my phone. The waitress mentioned she would consult with the manager. I want to clarify that I was not being confrontational or refusing to leave, simply seeking clarification. However, the manager emerged from the back and began shouting at me, accusing me of being underage and threatening to jeopardize their liquor license. I have no problem with the waitress doing her job, but I believe the manager's aggressive approach was unnecessary and unprofessional. I was not causing any disturbance, as I had only consumed water and remained calm throughout the interaction. It was disheartening to be treated in such a manner after spending five hours at the establishment without any issues. To add insult to injury, none of the others in my group, who were significantly younger than me, were asked for ID. Just to note, I am 29 years old.
I recently checked out the Delirious Comedy Show at Hennessey's on the corner of Fremont Street and Las Vegas Blvd and had a fantastic time. The comedians were hilarious, the atmosphere was lively, and the convenience of the location made it easy to get to. The show also offered delicious food and drinks, with a bar in the showroom. I highly recommend checking it out for a fun night out. Kudos to comedians Don Barnhart, Ron Coleman, Keith Lyle, and Erin O'Connor for a great evening of laughter!
This was my first time seeing Iluminate in Las Vegas and I was blown away. The dancers are clearly well-trained and put in a lot of effort into their performances. The Michael Jackson piece was definitely a standout for me. I have to give a shoutout to the light crew for their impressive work with the costumes, keeping everything perfectly in sync with each act. Their role is just as crucial as the dancers themselves. While the storyline did drag a bit at times, I understand its necessity for giving the dancers time to change and regroup for the next act. I think it would be a fun addition to offer light-up items for the audience to enhance the club experience and even have a dance party with the dancers at the end of the show. The theater setup was unique, with tables and chairs rather than traditional stadium seating. This added to the overall experience and made it feel more intimate.
The pool at Park MGM is quite nice, with one side losing sun around 5:30 PM due to the nearby Aria building. The pools and bathrooms are kept clean, and the drinks are reasonably priced compared to other spots in Las Vegas.
The service at Drop Bar was just okay. I ordered a sidecar and was disappointed to see that my glass wasn't even half full. The drink also wasn't as strong as I had hoped, especially considering the $18 price tag.
I absolutely loved my experience at The Buffet at Luxor in Las Vegas! The quality of the food exceeded my expectations for a buffet. The theming and overall experience were exceptional and far superior to other buffet chains I have tried in the past. The beef roast was thick, juicy, and freshly prepared, giving me a generous portion. The salad was also delicious with fancy cut veggies adding a nice touch. I opted for the "unlimited" mimosas and found the bartender to be very personable and the drinks were decently strong. I was impressed that there was no waiting in line, even at 12:00. Overall, I highly recommend The Buffet at Luxor for a fantastic dining experience.
While in Las Vegas for the SEMA expo, our company made reservations at Estiatoria Milos for our dinner. Everyone was excited to try this place and had a great time. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The restaurant can get quite loud and busy, but that's expected in Vegas. I highly recommend trying the Lamb dish!
Based on a friend's recommendation, I recently visited Hash House A Go Go and was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's fame once I entered. The walls covered in signed menus from celebrities added to the lively ambiance. The food, suggested by both my friend and the waiter, certainly lived up to its reputation, although it was unexpectedly spicy for my liking. While I enjoy a bit of heat, the intensity of the spice took me by surprise. Despite this, the flavors were still enjoyable, just a bit too hot for me. The portions were incredibly generous, almost overly so, as evidenced by the plates at nearby tables. Sharing a dish or coming with a hearty appetite seems to be the best way to fully enjoy the experience here. The place was bustling, especially during brunch, creating a vibrant atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience. Seating was a bit of a challenge when I arrived around noon, but the bar offered a quick solution. The service was efficient, although the wait for food was a bit longer than expected, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
