The food was really good! The drinks were not the best but they were strong and pretty cheap for the strip. There were some pigeons flying in but it is an outdoor venue so I understand. It wasn’t a gross amount either maybe saw 2 the whole time we were there.
Golden Nugget is one of my favorite places downtown. I have been very lucky there. On my recent trip, I only gambled there. Both times, I hit huge major jackpots! I have also always enjoyed staying there. They have an awesome pool, lots of restaurants, and the rooms are nice. The only drawback is if you have a room that is closer to Fremont Street. Those rooms are very loud until 3:00 a.m.
My husband and I went to the Atomic Saloon in Las Vegas to celebrate his birthday, and we had an absolute blast! This show is a production of Spiegelworld, and we LOVED their other show, Absinthe, so we've been excited to check this one out, too. Boy, it did NOT disappoint. The show was high energy, fun, and hilarious, and the cast was GREAT! Not only that, but the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the drinks were made perfectly. The venue was really cute, too. We had such a fun time celebrating my hubby's birthday, thanks to everyone at the Atomic Saloon.
My family and I had a blast and we absolutely enjoyed the interactive 7D experience. To make matters even better we were greeted by Jimmy for the 7D experience. His personality and profound customer service is unmatched. Thank you for a very blessed and memorable time! 🙌🏾💞
We came to the Redwood steakhouse specifically for the prime rib, which was excellent as reviewed! The prime rib portion was the largest I've ever had, and it was perfectly cooked (medium for us!) Unfortunately, after the Sweet Maui onion soup and the gratis garlic bread, I could barely dent my Prime Rib (though I did manage to eat enough to know it's amazing!) My wife had the Miso Sea Bass which she also loved! We added the mashed potatoes and finished the meal off with shared Creme Brulee! Overall an excellent meal! The meal was made all the better by the friendly staff, especially Yul who was our server. He gave us a really great snapshot of the history of the California Hotel and Casino and it's historical ties the the Hawaiian islands!
The Holo Holo bar is back in business as of March 20. It was a bit of a mixed experience due to them being out of so many bar items. The couldn't make an Old Fashion, or a Moscow Mule because they didn't have all the ingredients ready to go at relaunch. They did have plenty of beer however. I actually just ordered a Gin and Tonic, but they were out of limes. Oh well give them time. They'll be back up to speed soon. The bartender was friendly and helpful. So that made up for it.
