Lots of fun, and the entertainment was great. Service was decent, but often times they didn't come around. That was the hardest part, to get the waitresses to actually come. Constantly had to call them to come, rarely did they ask if we needed another drink order or anything else. It was like one and done. We literally waited 30 minutes after all our glasses were in the middle of the table and empty, and the wait staff walked by us probably 50 times, but not once stopped to ask if we wanted anything. Once we learned to go up the the bar and order, the night was better and faster for service.
Aside from the smoky casino area, I had a really enjoyable time staying at The Orleans. I really enjoyed the Japanese Cuisine Restaurant, Friday's and room service. The pool and workout room were excellent, but the massage amenities not so much. Unfortunately, the therapist assigned to me covered my face with the sheet for 10 minutes - and I'm not sure why. What's worse was the receptionist at the desk was trying to dissuade me from taking my appointment, and that I'd only be charged half of the $162 if I didn't show up. With this in mind, I can confidently say that I won't be paying for a massage here ever again.
I visited several casinos on the strip during my stay and Park MGM really stood out with its clean casino and smoke free atmosphere. It's so refreshing to see after walking through numerous casinos where smoking is allowed. They also have a really cool dining hall concept in the front of the property that offers a ton of food options. I will definitely be looking to stay here the next time I am in town.
