Visiting the Las Vegas Natural History Museum was a fantastic experience! The Treasures of Egypt exhibit was definitely a highlight for me, especially seeing the artifacts from King Tut's tomb. The museum has a lot of interesting areas to explore and plenty of information to learn from. I purchased tickets in advance, but ended up not needing to because there was no line when I arrived. It could have been because I visited on a weekday.
We recently dined at Market Place Buffet for lunch and were impressed with the festive Christmas decorations. Despite a short wait to be seated, the customer service was excellent and we appreciated the cleanliness of all the food stations. The variety of choices made it difficult to decide, but we ultimately enjoyed our meal. The prices were reasonable and the ample parking with handicap access was a plus. During another lunch visit, we were once again greeted with friendly customer service and prompt seating. The fresh and appetizing selection of dishes did not disappoint, especially the seafood entrees. The attentive and courteous server made our experience even more enjoyable, and we will definitely be returning. Market Place Buffet recently added lunch service on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, in addition to brunch and dinner. We visited on a Monday at 11 am and were pleased to find a short wait time and excellent customer service. The buffet area was clean, organized, and equipped with convenient hand sanitizer dispensers. Without the need for masks, we were able to serve ourselves without any issues. The selection and quality of the food were top-notch, and we left satisfied with plans to return in the future.
The music accompanying the fountain show at Picasso in Las Vegas was incredible. The service was excellent, with the staff being very friendly and willing to help us take photos. The food was amazing, although I wasn't a big fan of the wine that was paired with the menu.
My experience at Drais Pool was fantastic. The dancers were amazing, moving to the music flawlessly. The setup for Chris Brown's live performance was perfect, with great views from every spot. The only drawback was the limited dance floor space and the requirement to pay for VIP tables to have a seat. The bathroom attendants were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.
The food and cocktails at Hexx Kitchen + Bar are delicious, and the restaurant is conveniently located. However, the hostess lacked enthusiasm and did not smile, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this, the rest of the staff was friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable. The balloon bread with hummus appetizer was tasty. I ordered the seared halibut and it was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, although there was a bit too much cilantro for my liking. My companion ordered the braised short ribs and found them to be very tasty. I would definitely order these dishes again. Looking forward to trying the brunch menu on my next visit.
