Had a disappointing experience at Famous Foods in Las Vegas. Paid $18 for parking to try out the Famous Street Eats, but several stalls were closed, leaving me feeling ripped off. However, I did enjoy a tasty meal at Malaysian Googgle Man.
South Point in Las Vegas is a stunning property with a variety of dining choices, though it's recommended to make reservations in advance. While it's a short drive to the strip, there isn't a shuttle service available. Additionally, there isn't an early shuttle to the airport for flights departing before 7am. The rooms are generously sized and the beds are comfortable. Overall, South Point is a great choice for those seeking a resort-style stay.
We decided to have dinner at Pho Da Nang Vietnamese Kitchen before catching the Penn and Teller show. Despite a bit of rain that day, we were still able to enjoy the quick wok station menu items instead of Pho. We ordered the orange chicken with white rice and beef and broccoli with brown rice, which we shared with two other people. The portions were generous and satisfying, but those with a big appetite might want to consider ordering additional side dishes like egg rolls or soup. The food was good and filling, nothing too fancy but definitely hit the spot for us.
