Alder & Birch in Las Vegas gets a solid 4 stars from me. Our server was professional and nice, and the ambiance was beautiful, making it a great spot for large parties. I tried the Rib Eye Steak, Asparagus, Baked Potato, Lamb Chops, Short Rib, House Chopped Salad, and Tempura Rock Shrimp. The steaks and lamb were cooked perfectly, and the asparagus was a nice touch. While the creme brulee and baked potato were my least favorite, the Tempura Rock Shrimp was my absolute favorite - so much so that I returned the next day to have it again. On my second visit, I ordered the House Chopped Salad and unfortunately, it was overdressed and not to my liking. Overall, the service was good and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back again.
I visited The Pool at Harrahs Las Vegas right when they opened for the season. There weren't many people there yet, which made for a peaceful experience. The pool area was tidy, well-maintained, and had a relaxing atmosphere. I appreciated the affordable prices for snacks and drinks compared to other hotels on the strip. The lounge chairs were fantastic - comfortable and perfect for lounging by the pool. There was also a separate area for kids to enjoy splashing around. Overall, it was a great experience.
A recent trip to Aliante Golf Club in Las Vegas was a mixed bag. The course itself was in good shape and the staff were friendly. However, the slow pace of play was a bit disappointing and affected our overall experience. With some improvements in this area, Aliante has the potential to be a top golfing spot in the future.
Craftsteak in Las Vegas is a great option for a steakhouse after a conference. The bar area provides easy access for solo diners, with excellent service and delicious food. The Wagyu strip was a standout dish, along with the Freise salad, whipped mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Highly recommended!
I was thrilled to find the best burgers at the Venetian Las Vegas. The burgers at Rockhouse are truly exceptional, with fresh, homemade patties that really stand out. And the fries are amazing too. If you're looking for something delicious and reasonably priced at the Venetian, Rockhouse is the place to go. I highly recommend it.
