Visited Alder & Birch at the New Orleans before seeing a movie. Found the food and service to be quite good. Enjoyed the atmosphere and was surprised that it wasn't too busy for a Friday evening. Pleasantly surprised to find a steakhouse at the New Orleans.

Alder & Birch in Las Vegas gets a solid 4 stars from me. Our server was professional and nice, and the ambiance was beautiful, making it a great spot for large parties. I tried the Rib Eye Steak, Asparagus, Baked Potato, Lamb Chops, Short Rib, House Chopped Salad, and Tempura Rock Shrimp. The steaks and lamb were cooked perfectly, and the asparagus was a nice touch. While the creme brulee and baked potato were my least favorite, the Tempura Rock Shrimp was my absolute favorite - so much so that I returned the next day to have it again. On my second visit, I ordered the House Chopped Salad and unfortunately, it was overdressed and not to my liking. Overall, the service was good and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back again.

My group and I were in the mood for steak and decided to try Alder & Birch in Las Vegas. We made a reservation online and were pleased with the last-minute availability. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. We ordered a variety of dishes including Lump Crab Cake, Beef Rossini Imperial, Steak Frites, and Bone-In Ribeye Steak. While most of the dishes were delicious, the Ribeye Steak did not meet our expectations in terms of quality. The texture seemed more like a "Choice" cut rather than a Prime cut, but it was still enjoyable. The prices at Alder & Birch are very reasonable compared to other steakhouses in the area. The overall experience, including the decor, value, and service, was positive and I would consider returning to try other items on the menu. In conclusion, Alder & Birch is a restaurant worth visiting for a good meal at a good value. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice dining experience in Las Vegas.

Although we were asked what they could help us with rather than how many for your table (likely due to the fact that it was me and 3 teens dressed in hoodies and shorts), the atmosphere in this place was devine and our server (Mark F) was superb! He was extremely mindful of my little ones for allergies and made sure to point out what she should not eat down to the bread. The food was a bit pricey but it was a wonderful experience and next time I'm getting desert!

My family and I were in the mood for some steak and was searching around the city for a restaurant that we haven't tried yet and stumbled across this one. We enjoy coming to The Orleans once in a while because this property has sentimental value to our family. We ended up making a reservation online and was enthusiastic about the time we were able to reserve at such last-minute. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hostess. We ended up having to wait about 2 minutes before being escorted to our table because we arrived way early than our reservation time. Regardless, I was appreciative that we were able to get seated earlier, rather than later. The service here was remarkable; from the moment we walked in, to our main server. With respect to our entrées, we ordered the Lump Crab Cake, Beef Rossini Imperial, Steak Frites, and Bone-In Ribeye Steak. Everything that we ordered was great except for the Ribeye. I don't know if my taste buds/palate was inoperable for me that night, but the steak quality wasn't there for me. I'm not certain if this restaurant utilizes premium cuts, but it had the texture of "Choice" meats, vice Prime cuts. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful by any means - I still finished my entire meal...but it just lacked the quality cuts I'm used to at other steakhouses in the Las Vegas-Summerlin-Henderson areas. The prices at this restaurant is very reasonable. I'm sure there will be some that complain about it, but if you actually visit other steakhouses in the valley, believe me, you'll appreciate the prices here. Overall, this restaurant is good; from the décor, the price-to-quantity/quality value, and the service, it is worth visiting. I'm interesting in visiting again because there were a few items on the menu I would like to try. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
