My experience at the OYO Pool in Las Vegas was extremely disappointing. The hotel is overpriced despite being advertised as a cheap option, and the resort fee felt like a rip-off since many amenities were closed. The entire property was outdated and uninviting, with the smell of cigarette smoke permeating the rooms. The cleanliness was subpar, with stains, dust, and hairs found throughout the room. Additionally, there were safety concerns such as blocked stairs and malfunctioning elevators. The customer service was lacking, with long waits for basic requests like clean towels. The added fees for a fridge and microwave felt like nickel-and-diming. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this hotel and suggest looking elsewhere for accommodations in Las Vegas.
The Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art in Las Vegas is a hidden gem with a large and well-utilized gallery space showcasing a variety of artists' work. The exhibitions are thoughtfully curated, featuring artists from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. With its strong connection to the community and the region, this museum is a must-visit cultural asset in Las Vegas. During my recent second visit, I was impressed by the consistent high-level of artists and thought-provoking exhibitions on display. The staff is friendly and there is a small sitting area where visitors can relax and dive deeper into the artwork through provided books. Overall, the Barrick Museum of Art offers a unique and enriching experience for art enthusiasts and locals alike.
Baja Fresh at Excalibur in Las Vegas has quickly become one of my go-to spots for fresh and delicious fast food takeout. The meats, vegetables, and salsas are always top-notch. The manager at this location is absolutely fantastic - professional, sweet, and humble. The staff, from the grill to the counter, are all incredible at what they do. It's clear that they take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the food and service. I only wish there was a Baja Fresh closer to my area.
Alle Lounge on 66 is definitely a must visit spot in Las Vegas. I had a great time sitting at the bar enjoying some nuts and chips. The custom non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious and I ended up ordering two more. The lounge was not busy at all, with plenty of seating available even on a Sunday night at 10pm. I also loved that you can charge your bill to your room and it counts towards your beverage credit. Overall, a fantastic experience at Alle Lounge on 66.
Las Vegas Golf Center may not be the fanciest place, but it has a lot to offer. The range is nice, the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The course may not be in the best shape, but it provides great entertainment value for the price. One suggestion for improvement is to use mats on every tee box for easier maintenance. It would also be beneficial to focus on improving the condition of the greens, as they are quite rough. Making sure all the lights are working consistently would also enhance the experience, especially for night golf. Additionally, advertising the night golf more could attract more players. Overall, Las Vegas Golf Center is a great spot to visit. Thank you for providing a fun and enjoyable experience during my time in Vegas.
As someone familiar with the area, Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a beautiful course. While I wish there were a few more amenities included in the price, such as complimentary water or wet towels, the course itself is in excellent condition and the staff is friendly.
I finally had the opportunity to dine at Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance from the moment you walk in is electrifying, with a video display of Gordon Ramsay himself welcoming you. The service was top-notch, with a waiter who was attentive, kind, and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. I opted for the fixed menu and started off with the scallops, which were hands down the best I've ever had. The English pea puree beneath the scallops added an extra layer of flavor that was simply delightful. The beef wellington stole the show, with perfectly cooked beef that melted in my mouth with every bite. And don't even get me started on the sticky toffee pudding - it was the best dessert I've ever had, complemented perfectly by the accompanying ice cream. The atmosphere at Hell's Kitchen truly makes you feel like you're a part of the show, and the experience is worth every penny. My family members also raved about their meals, from the short rib to the crispy salmon. And if you enjoy a good drink, I highly recommend trying the old fashioned - you won't regret it. Overall, my experience at Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas was unforgettable and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a dining experience that goes above and beyond.
Wicked Spoon Buffet offers a decent selection of food for the price. It is located a bit of a walk from the entrance on the second floor. The price per person was under $60 during my visit. The fresh cut fruit station was surprisingly good and the omelette station provided a filling option, although too much for my taste. There is a crepe station for those who enjoy them, but I opted for the dessert bar which had a great selection of sweets and gelato. The Asian station and ramen bar were not impressive, so I skipped those options. Overall, the variety of food was decent and everything I tried was tasty. While there are better buffets in Vegas, they also come with a higher price tag. Wicked Spoon Buffet is a mid-range option with good value for the price. It is conveniently located in the middle of the strip.
