The food at Chica in Las Vegas was good overall. The salmon was cooked perfectly crispy and the street corn was delicious. However, some of the other dishes were just okay. The famous raspberry cheesecake, also known as street corn, was tasty and refreshing. Our server was friendly, but it seemed like he had too many tables to manage. This resulted in some delays with our drinks and timing of our food. It took about 10 minutes before he was able to check if our food was prepared correctly. Automatically adding an 18% gratuity to the bill for two people may indicate that the restaurant recognizes that the service could be improved and wants to ensure that the servers are compensated adequately.
I visited Pronto by Giada at the end of October and wanted to share my thoughts. I was disappointed with the quality of the food compared to the price. The breakfast options were limited and I felt that the flavor could have been better. I decided to give it another chance the next day by ordering a slice of cake, but unfortunately, it was just average and overpriced. Overall, I found the food at Pronto to be mediocre for the cost.
Ping Pang Pong is a solid choice for dim sum in Las Vegas without having to venture to the Asian strip. Located inside the Gold Coast hotel and casino, be prepared to wait in line if you don't have a reservation as it's first come, first serve. The service may be a bit slow due to the bustling atmosphere, but the prices are standard compared to other cities like Chicago and Houston. The food is cooked well and served hot, with the restaurant maintaining a clean environment. Overall, a decent option for dim sum in Vegas.
Our experience at Chicago Brewing Company was a pleasant one overall. The server was efficient and friendly, and we appreciated the option of both smoking and non-smoking areas. The menu primarily features American-style food such as burgers, pizza, salads, and typical appetizers like mozzarella sticks and wings. During our visit, we ordered the sausage and mushroom pizza with a thin crust. The pizza was a bit too cheesy for our liking, but we suspect it may taste better the next day when reheated for a crispier bottom. The prices at Chicago Brewing Company are reasonable, especially considering its location in the 4 Queens hotel. While we found the food to be more focused on quantity rather than quality, we believe the burgers may be worth trying. Overall, Chicago Brewing Company falls into the middle range of dining options in the area, with lower-end options like Sbarro and Subway, and higher-end options like Hugo's. If you're looking for a casual meal with a variety of choices, give Chicago Brewing Company a shot.
Claim Jumper at Golden Nugget in Las Vegas offers above average comfort food. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the pleasant dining experience. The restaurant has a big, spacious dining room for guests to enjoy. I visited on a non-busy Saturday at 4:30pm and ordered the chicken sandwich, which was delicious and highly recommended. Additionally, guests can validate their parking ticket at the restaurant if they parked in the garage. Overall, a great dining option for those looking for tasty comfort food in a welcoming atmosphere.
