Situated on the casino floor of the MGM Grand, Grand Wok Noodle Bar is the perfect spot for those seeking affordable American Chinese cuisine in a casual dining setting. The service here is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The portion sizes are generous, allowing for leftovers to enjoy later. Our order of spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai, and Szechuan eggplant was all delicious. This is a great option for a quick lunch or dinner before catching a show! Highly recommend giving it a try.
Looking for a spot near the Mirage to grab a bite before a show? Otoro is just a short walk away from the theater, making it a convenient choice. Despite arriving early for our reservation, we were seated promptly by the attentive staff. Our server, David, was helpful in answering our questions and taking our orders efficiently. We decided to skip the entrées and sample a variety of appetizers like gyoza, tempura combo, and seaweed salad, as well as items from the robata grill such as Sea Bass, scallops, and wagyu beef, along with a spider roll. Our food arrived quickly, with the tempura impressing us with its crispiness. The seaweed salad could have benefitted from a touch of sweetness to balance the acidity. Unfortunately, the spider roll fell short, lacking depth of flavor. However, the sea bass with mirin glaze and scallops in bacon sauce were highlights, while the wagyu beef was slightly overcooked. Overall, we rated Otoro 4 stars due to the mixed experience with the dishes.
My recent visit to Chef Robert Irvine's Public House was truly remarkable. The warm hospitality and lively atmosphere set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The menu showcases Chef Irvine's culinary skill with dishes crafted to perfection, bursting with flavor in every bite. I particularly enjoyed the wings and sliders, both cooked flawlessly with top-quality ingredients. The margaritas were also a delicious treat. The attentive and knowledgeable staff provided exceptional service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The modern yet cozy decor adds to the welcoming ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a meal with loved ones or a special night out. Chef Robert Irvine's Public House exceeded all expectations, and I can't wait to return to explore more of his culinary creations. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for any food enthusiast looking for an exceptional dining experience.
