What I Disliked

We dined at Grand Wok Noodle Bar at MGM in Las Vegas after watching Ka, and here's our take on the meal: Mongolian Beef at $27.88: 5/10 The beef was of low quality, heavily tenderized with cornstarch, which compromised the taste. Vegetable Spring Rolls at $12.88: 7/10 This dish was a mixed bag for the group but overall decent in flavor. BBQ Honey Roast Pork at $21.88: 8/10 This was the highlight of our dinner. The pork had a great taste, and the sauce paired well with the steamed rice. Bak Choy: Removed from bill due to issues - 1/10 Unfortunately, this dish had issues with cleanliness as it contained a brown, gooey substance that appeared to be rotted vegetables. The only resolution offered was to remove it from the bill. Steamed Rice at $4.88 each: 10/10 A surprising delight, the rice was cooked perfectly, just like the homemade version. Prices are listed before taxes.

On our final evening in Las Vegas, we decided to dine at Grand Wok Noodle Bar. We ordered the traditional Pad Thai, hot and sour soup, and chow fun noodles. While prices in Vegas tend to be on the higher side, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Definitely a spot we'd return to.

Service was excellent, though the wait to be seated was quite long. The food itself was delicious, but the prices are quite steep for traditional Asian dishes. We took advantage of the restaurant week deal, which made the three-course meal option more reasonable; otherwise, it felt overpriced.

The revamped menu at Grand Wok Noodle Bar at MGM Grand has truly impressed us with their delicious food options and excellent customer service. It's great news that they are now open every day for dining. Some of the standout dishes we tried include the perfectly cooked sea bass served on a bed of exotic mushrooms, as well as the new desserts like the green tea cake and mango sago. In addition, the beef chow fun and sweet and sour chicken were also delicious choices that we enjoyed.

Located in the MGM Grand, Grand Wok Noodle Bar is a solid option for a meal. The food is good, the atmosphere is decent, and the prices are fair. I tried the wonton noodle soup and was surprised by the amount of noodles in the bowl. Just something to keep in mind if you prefer a broth-heavy dish. For two people without any alcohol or soda, our bill came to around $40 before tip. Considering the portion sizes, this is a reasonable price. I would recommend avoiding the food courts at MGM Grand if you're looking for a better dining experience.

What I Disliked

After reading some positive reviews, we decided to try out Grand Wok Noodle Bar during our stay at MGM Grand. The service was excellent for the most part, although there was a brief moment when they forgot about us. They offered some gluten free options, but the presence of soy sauce in many dishes was a bit inconvenient. The wonton soup was a standout dish, even without the noodles. The fried rice lacked spiciness, especially since the chili oil wasn't gluten free for the shrimp fried rice. The broccoli dish with garlic was delicious and a good choice. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting with a semi open kitchen, and the restaurant was very clean and casual.
