Located within the MGM Grand resort, the Avenue Cafe is an excellent spot for a meal. We tried the patty melt and a couple of omelets, all of which were delicious and fairly priced. Despite a queue at the entrance, it moved swiftly, and we were soon seated with prompt and welcoming service. A bonus was the availability of gluten-free bread.

Avenue Cafe, located within the sprawling MGM complex, is one of the few spots to grab breakfast inside the building, so I decided to give it a shot despite its concerningly low ratings. Regrettably, the reviews were accurate. While the menu seems appealing, the food falls short. I tried the salmon bagel, thinking it would be a safe choice, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. The sandwich was poorly balanced with a hefty chunk of salmon that was tough to chew, stale bagels, and an overpowering amount of rich cream cheese. Additionally, the random herbs did not complement the dish at all. To add to the strangeness, I was served a couple of poached eggs on a separate plate, which seemed completely out of place. The coffee was equally disappointing, with a burnt plastic taste. I left feeling very dissatisfied and still hungry. I definitely can't recommend this place.

We visited on a bustling Saturday morning, and the line extended nearly to the casino floor. Despite the crowd, it took just 10-15 minutes to get seated. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and personable. Our group of nine received our food promptly, and everything was served hot. The portion sizes were pleasantly surprising. In Las Vegas, it's common to pay the same amount for smaller portions, but here the portions were generous and reasonably priced, especially considering the quality.

My friends and I visited Avenue Cafe on a busy Saturday morning. Despite the long line that nearly reached the casino floor, we only had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. The wait staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a group of 9 people and our food was served quickly and hot. The portion sizes were surprisingly generous, especially considering the usual standards in Las Vegas. The quality of the food matched the quantity, making for a satisfying dining experience.
