What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

I had high hopes for TAP Sports Bar at the MGM, largely due to the outstanding service. The staff creates a friendly and lively environment, making you feel right at home. The menu is straightforward, and the food images online are appealing. Prices are fair, especially given its prime location on the casino floor. However, the food was a different story. The burger left much to be desired, lacking in flavor and freshness. The nachos also fell short, with tough meat and cheese that didn't melt properly, failing to complement the chips. Everything seemed hurried and unremarkable. The bustling atmosphere and sheer size of the place give the impression that the kitchen is focused on quantity over quality. The dishes we tried weren’t anything special or memorable. If your priority is good service, quick snacks, and a bustling sports bar vibe, TAP fits the bill. However, for a standout dining experience, you might want to explore other restaurants at MGM. In conclusion, I would rate the food with 2 stars, but the staff deserves recognition for their exceptional hospitality.

TAP Sports Bar in Las Vegas offers a superior option for bar food compared to Crush. While it seems that servers have numerous tables to manage, which might affect those in a hurry or needing constant attention, I personally found that my drink was consistently refilled and the food was served accurately and promptly. Just a heads up: the wings are delicious and provide great value for their price, especially in Vegas.

What I Disliked

Recently visited TAP Sports Bar in Las Vegas. The atmosphere was lively with numerous TVs to catch any game you're interested in. The service was mediocre; our server seemed distracted and a bit overwhelmed. I ordered a 12oz ribeye cooked medium, but it arrived overcooked and dry. It also seemed smaller and thinner than expected, possibly contributing to the overcooking. Unfortunately, our server didn’t return to check on us, so after my companion finished their meal, I had to flag another staff member to request a replacement. The overall food experience was just okay, with the fries being overly seasoned. However, the chicken wings were the standout highlight of our meal.

TAP Sports Bar inside the MGM is a fantastic spot for casual dining. They offer great prices and generous portions. Opted for the 3 for $33 deal and really enjoyed the Tap Burger with fries, side salad, and artichoke dip; it was a lot of food, too much to finish the fries. There's a good selection of drinks and wines, plus some local tap options. The only issue was the ribeye, which had an excessive amount of blue cheese on top and nacho cheese on the potatoes, but overall, everything was satisfying. Our server was prompt and attentive.

What I Disliked

I recently visited TAP Sports Bar inside the MGM Grand Hotel Casino. Opted for the 3 for $33 deal and enjoyed the tortilla soup, fried pickles, and fish & chips. The food overall was excellent, although the fried pickles were a bit too salty for me. The staff was very friendly and attentive, ensuring our drinks were never less than half full by frequently offering refills. Would definitely recommend!
