A group of friends and I decided to go Bowling at Red Rock Lanes one Saturday night at 6pm. Overall, we had a good time. However, there were a couple of unexpected issues that arose during our visit. Firstly, a dog was allowed in the establishment and began barking at people, ultimately needing to be removed. Additionally, the patrons next to us spilled juice all over the floor, leaving it sticky and wet until it was cleaned up by the staff. Despite these incidents, the team working there resolved the problems quickly and efficiently, which was impressive. On the positive side, the bowling computer system was user-friendly, there were plenty of balls available, and the drinks were well-prepared. The facility also had a clean video game area and bathrooms. On the downside, the prices were a bit high and the music was extremely loud, which may deter me from returning in the future. However, as someone who is not particularly into bowling, I would recommend Red Rock Lanes as a solid option for a fun outing with friends and family. Just be aware that parking in the West garage is more convenient than having to walk a long distance.
The bartender at Lobby Bar was very rude. They spoke in a disrespectful manner and lacked professionalism in interacting with customers. It is important for them to learn how to be more humble and speak politely to all patrons, regardless of their background. This kind of behavior is not appropriate when serving customers from different cultures.
Fans Sports Bar in Las Vegas is an awesome spot to catch the game.
KA by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas was a good show. The performance was amazing and overall it was a thrilling experience. However, I found it slightly long and monotonous towards the end. A reminder for attendees: no pictures are allowed once the show begins, and no food or drinks are allowed once the show starts. Make sure to have something to munch on beforehand. Ticket prices vary, so keep an eye out on different websites for the best front row seats with the best visibility.
My family had a wonderful time at Lee Canyon. The environment was lovely and the prices were fair. It's a great option for skiing in the Vegas area. I recommend going during the weekdays to avoid crowds. We visited on a Friday morning and enjoyed the nice powder conditions. The scenery was beautiful and the resort was very clean.
Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Las Vegas is a fantastic dining spot. The service from the staff is top-notch and very welcoming. The chicken and waffles with bourbon maple syrup is a must-try item on the menu. They also offer a delicious gluten-free version. I suggest starting off with the fried green tomato BLT as an appetizer if you have a big appetite. Overall, I highly recommend Yardbird for a great meal.
Dick's Last Resort is a blast! Our server was hilarious and even showed off some impressive magic tricks. The drinks were tasty and I loved getting to take home a souvenir glass. Prices were reasonable for the Strip. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The chicken fried chicken and broccoli were a bit overcooked, but saved by delicious gravy. The mashed potatoes were a hit, though. The ribs were flavorful but slightly overdone. Overall, the food was okay, but the entertainment and lively atmosphere are what make Dick's Last Resort a must-visit in Vegas.
