Went for the APA tournament. Once you walk through the gauntlet of cigarettes and weed smoke the venue itself is nice. Normally the smoke wouldn't be an issue but they were crowded at the only entrance. The photo is of one room of three. Had a great time.
Overall: 4.4/5 We got on the guest list and got in around 11 PM the Friday of Halloween weekend. The line moved pretty fast and the check-in/security process was streamlined. It was our first time in Hakkasan so we were surprised we had to take an elevator up to get to the club. They only opened 2 floors so we didn't get to see the 3rd one. The floor we got off on was the top floor where it was all lounge seating. The bar area was big and provided a nice overview of the club. The space in front of the DJ was huge but it was already filled. We grabbed a drink first since there was no line which was a smart choice because half an hour later, both bars were packed. It was ladies' open bar too from 11:30 PM - 12:30 AM so the girls can get free well drinks/beers. HOWEVER, the drinks - even the paid ones - tasted like juice with barely any alcohol in them. The lemon drop was $20 and the long island tea was $26 too so pre-game before you come in. The lemon drop we got had sugar all over the cup so our hands got sticky. The bartenders were really nice though and didn't seem to hate their jobs. The music got better as it got later into the night but we left a little before 1 AM since it got way too crowded. They even blocked off the middle entry stairs to the main stage dance floor and had security managing path of travel/flow. Overall, had a pretty good experience. Definitely one of the better clubs I've been to.
The best Fish & Chips we’ve had so far. We ordered the box with 3 pieces of fish and add an extra lobster tail. Fish & lobster were both perfectly fried and it was not dry. Very moist and juicy. Love the garlic fries with tartar sauce and the mango curry sauce. Would highly recommend! 10/10 for food and service :)
It takes a good walk to get to the theater inside Luxtor. Be prepared. Great show and not expensive. Music, light and sound effects, humor, interactions with audience are all great. I have seen some of this show before, but there are also some new elements. I brought my teen age son, and he enjoyed it too!
Food was good. Server was very attentive. This TGIF is inside Sam’s Town Casino. Lots of parking. We had to ask for new silverware because the ones we had was pretty dirty and spoon was bent 😉other than that it was good. We will be back. Thanks ☺️
Another late night spot that is open inside Resorts World. We got a couple of sandwiches to share. We got the short rib sandwich and the hot honey chicken sandwich. Out of the two, I enjoyed the short rib more. It didn't take too long for us to get our food as it wasn't too busy when we went.
Lovely day spent away from the buzz of the strip - well needed after a busy week. No communal area for couples - suprised to find after we had paid that men and women are kept separate in the spa. Turned out to be wuote nice that you could concentrate on relaxing. Lots of amenities- water, coffee, apples and magazines. Pool area clean, sauna could have been hotter but still lovely. Changing areas well looked after, showers lots of towels, razor and shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. Hairdryer and straighteners, make up remover and hairbrushes. We went out of pool season so didn't have swimsuits - Front desk only sell mens swimwear, shops close by were $180 for a pool party type swimsuit. We went to burlingtons nearby and kitted ourselves out for $20.
Food was pretty good and they served well. One of the better place to have food during stay at Mirage hotel, this saved me as I am a vegetarian I had very less options for food.
