t8D3ya left a 3 star review for Pool a Paris

The pool at Paris in Las Vegas closes early and half of it is closed, which is frustrating. It feels cramped on one side and it doesn't make sense to limit access. Additionally, outside drinks are not allowed, so you must purchase from the bar. On the positive side, the water is refreshing and there are nice views of the tower from the pool.

Recommended by a bartender from Atomic Liquors, The Griffin did not disappoint. The interior had a unique feel, reminiscent of a ship's galley or castle, with a long bar along one side. The bartenders were knowledgeable and skilled at mixing drinks, making our experience stand out on Fremont. The bouncer added to the fun atmosphere, clearly enjoying his job. Overall, a great place to visit in Las Vegas.

This hotel in Las Vegas is not a great place to stay. I had several issues with Central tower during my time there: 1. The heater in my room was not working properly. 2. The water temperature was only lukewarm, and when I called the front desk for help, I had to wait for an hour and call three times before getting a response. When I asked to cancel, the staff member was not apologetic and seemed indifferent. 3. There was no desk or chair in my room. 4. There were not enough wall sockets, so I had to use extension cords. 5. The lighting in the room was very dim, with only two table lamps and one Ikea tower lamp. 6. There was a leak in the bathroom that dripped water all night. 7. There was no soap provided in the shower. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located next to the monorail. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and would not consider it more than a 1 star accommodation. Stay away!

Visited on a weekday afternoon and found the pool to be quiet with only a few other guests. The view overlooks construction workers, but hopefully, more scenic views will be available in the future. You can catch a glimpse of the strip in the distance.

t8D3ya left a 4 star review for MGM Grand

Located right on the Las Vegas strip, MGM Grand offers nice rooms, though not quite up to the standards of Park MGM across the way. There are numerous food options throughout the facility, but many close early on Sundays. The pricing at the steak house is high, but military discounts are available. Reservations are required for most restaurants. Additional amenities at MGM Grand come at an extra cost, so be prepared to pay for them. The staff is helpful, but the check-in process can be a bit rocky, even with reservations made. It is worth noting that the property still allows smoking in certain areas, despite the trend towards smoke-free environments at other MGM properties. Overall, MGM Grand is a nice place to stay, but some aspects may not meet expectations. I may not choose to stay here again in the future.
