Our experience at the MGM Grand Las Vegas was outstanding from beginning to end. Utilizing the MGM app for check-in made the process quick and seamless. We skipped the front desk entirely and went straight to our room with the digital key—super convenient! The room itself was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable, equipped with everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. Despite not having a view of the Strip, the room’s quiet and well-designed space provided a wonderfully relaxing environment. The MGM Grand exudes a lively and energetic atmosphere. With excellent dining choices, top-notch entertainment, and attentive staff, everything was spot-on. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and are definitely planning to return.

The MGM Grand offers rooms that could use some updating, though the rates are reasonable. Be prepared for extended waits during check-in, typically around 20-30 minutes. A significant drawback for me was the hotel's refusal to accept Marriott Bonvoy benefits when booked through a well-known travel agency.

MGM Grand Las Vegas is an outstanding destination for anyone eager to experience the highlights of the Strip. From the moment of arrival, guests are welcomed by an atmosphere of luxury and excitement. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with modern amenities that elevate the stay to a top-notch experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the city views are breathtaking. The pool area is stunning, providing a perfect spot for daytime relaxation, while the fitness center is fully equipped for those who wish to maintain their workout routine. The dining options at MGM are abundant, ranging from casual eateries to fine dining—making each meal a delightful experience!

This casino resort boasts a large area with multiple pools, but it feels somewhat outdated. We opted for the Stay Well rooms, which feature an air purifier, enhanced water filter, and improved amenities, though I'm unsure if they were truly worth it. Both the resort and the rooms could use some modernizing. When compared to places like Aria, Cosmo, and Venetian, it falls short. Admittedly, these are in a higher tier, but there are likely better budget-friendly alternatives out there. One pleasant discovery was the MGM Gold’s separate Check-in lounge to the right, which offered complimentary snacks and drinks for guests. The staff member who helped with the check-in was extremely pleasant, although I didn't catch his name. The check-in process was smooth, though I noticed that the regular line was quite daunting, possibly due to the resort's vast size. The valet pick-up area is outside, so be ready for chilly conditions in winter. A key consideration for staying at MGM is its location at the end of the strip, which means there's not as much activity nearby. For those who prioritize location, Park MGM might be a better choice, although MGM does have superior pools. For some reason, MGM always feels a bit chaotic to me.

The MGM Grand in Las Vegas offers a well-known name and prime location, but the experience comes with certain drawbacks. The beds proved uncomfortable, and the rooms appeared somewhat worn, likely due to the high volume of guests. Parking is situated at quite a distance from the main facilities, so be prepared for a lengthy walk. During the stay, there were three notable inconveniences, the most significant being a lack of water for a few hours, which guests were not informed about in advance. Additional charges, such as resort fees and parking, contributed to an unexpectedly high bill. Despite booking my stay through AAA, which mentioned possible extra fees, I was unprepared for the cost to nearly double. A complaint was filed prior to checking out, and as compensation for the issues experienced, the parking fee was waived.

As a casino hotel, it's expected that there will be smoking, but improving the atmosphere with a better ventilation system to clear the air would be a welcome change. It would be nice if the smoke and cigarette odor didn't reach the hotel rooms. On a positive note, the check-in service was excellent—very friendly and efficient. The room was pleasing, featuring stylish decor, a comfy bed, and effective temperature control. However, I was a bit let down by the towels; they were fairly average and not quite up to the expected standard. Finally, the resort fees were a surprise. It's been some time since my last visit to Vegas, but why is this a common practice now? Just adjust the pricing to cover these 'mythical' costs instead of advertising deceptively low rates. With an early departure after a single night, there wasn't much opportunity to enjoy any 'resort activities or amenities.' Overall, it’s a good hotel offering good value, though some minor issues do detract from the overall experience.
