Though located on the strip, Elara is less of a Vegas hotel, and more of a vacation home away from home, a quiet place to rest and regroup.
Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations is a non-gaming property located on the Las Vegas strip. Perfect for business travelers and families alike, Elara offers a much quieter resort experience than other strip hotels. This makes Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations an excellent option for experiencing the excitement of Vegas, while still enjoying peaceful personal time. The rooms at Elara Las Vegas are beautifully decorated, with an enticing view of the Strip laid out below your highrise windows. Each studio comes equipped with a kitchenette, while the larger one, two, three, and four-bedroom units have fully equipped kitchens. Cook your meals to save a bit of time and money, or sample some of the tantalizing treats available at the Lobby Bar or Poolside Bar and Grill. Breakfast sandwiches are available at Starbucks, and all can be packages to go. The Elara offers an elegant and peaceful refuge in the middle of all the excitement.

The Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Vegas is ideally situated, offering a convenient location. However, make sure to clearly communicate your checkout date to the housekeeping staff. It seems their system isn't very reliable; despite checking in for a week, after a few days, it feels like they're eager for you to check out. On more than one occasion, they entered the room unannounced, which was uncomfortable. A complaint was made to the front office, and hopefully, the manager, Trevor, will address the issue, as such incidents are unexpected at a high-end hotel. During a week's stay, housekeeping only serviced the room twice, with one cleaning prompted by a misunderstanding about our checkout. This might be part of their cost-saving strategy, as they only clean rooms every three days. Additionally, requests for essentials like toilet paper and towels were made several times throughout the week. While the hotel offers a prime location, there appears to be a significant disconnect between management, housekeeping, and their reservation system.

Having previously experienced the Hilton Club in Charlotte, we had high expectations for our stay at Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Vegas, and it certainly lived up to them. Our room was incredibly spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the Strip. It provided a serene and immaculate environment, complete with all the conveniences we could ask for. Despite our late arrival, we were graciously granted a later check-out, courtesy of Ahmed, whose hospitality made us feel warmly welcomed. He even arranged for additional pillows and water to be delivered to our room. The parking situation was hassle-free, and the location proved to be convenient. If we find ourselves in Vegas again, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose this property. Our admiration for the Hilton Club brand continues to grow.

Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Vegas offers an unbeatable location right in the heart of the Strip. While it doesn't feature its own casino, Planet Hollywood is just a short walk away, and other major casinos are conveniently located right across the street. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the PH units being particularly impressive. It's a fantastic place to stay.

We stayed in a one-room suite that was very pleasant, extremely spacious, and offered a fantastic view. The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to the Miracle Mile Shops associated with Planet Hollywood, which is particularly convenient, even with a double-wide stroller. We were so impressed that we recommended it to several friends and family members, complete with photos. However, we did encounter some issues with customer service. When one of our children fell ill, we requested a late check-out to accommodate our 6 PM flight the next day, but this was declined, which was understandable. Due to a restless night, we decided to extend our stay by an additional night. I utilized the hotel's SMS concierge service, which is a neat feature, but was mistakenly provided with a real estate agent's number in Utah, waking them at 5 AM their time. Eventually, I paid the full price for an extra night's stay, which I was prepared to do. What puzzled me was the inconsistency; if they could accommodate an extra night's stay on the very day of our departure, why couldn't they offer a late check-out? They cited occupancy as the reason, yet we secured the same room for another day. It seems as though the system is set up to encourage additional charges rather than serving guests' immediate needs. Hard work, honesty, and integrity are crucial elements of customer service, yet I felt these principles were lacking as our stay came to a close. Apart from this issue, we really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

Disappointing Interaction with Staff at Elara by Hilton During a recent family stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara Center Strip Las Vegas, we encountered a mix of friendly and accommodating staff members. Unfortunately, one interaction with a staff member at the experience desk left a negative impression. Based on our experience, I would think twice before recommending this hotel to others. While some guests might receive courteous treatment, it seems one's experience may depend on luck. If you're curious about an experience where you're made to feel unwelcome and dismissed simply for requesting bottled water without fully understanding the voucher system, this might be the place for you. Interestingly, it felt like we were being accused of attempting to exploit the system over something as trivial as bottled water. Here's what transpired: Upon check-in, we were advised that we could request additional bottled water if needed. That evening, we approached the front desk to request bottled water for our group. The staff member we spoke to, Scott, immediately stated, “No, we don’t provide that,” without verifying our stay or asking for our room number. This made us feel as though we were non-guests, leading us to assertively clarify that we were staying at the hotel. Once our stay was verified, Scott mentioned that we needed to use vouchers for water. This left us confused, as this detail hadn’t been explained earlier. When we sought clarification, Scott provided no further explanation, handed us just two bottles, and delivered his responses in a condescending manner. Upon asking again for enough water for our group, he curtly refused. The interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive over such a minor request. We later approached another staff member, who kindly informed us that beverage vouchers could indeed be used for bottled water, resolving our confusion immediately. Although we received the water using the vouchers then, the earlier encounter with Scott left a lingering sense of unfair treatment. Even though we could have reviewed the policy more thoroughly, this doesn't excuse the dismissive tone we experienced. We were merely seeking a bit of clarity. Hopefully, management will address these issues to ensure all guests are treated with professionalism and respect in the future.

A group of four of us stayed in a two-bedroom corner suite and had an amazing experience! First and foremost, I'd like to commend Mario at check-in. He was exceptionally helpful and friendly, assisting us in securing a room on a higher floor with a breathtaking view of the strip. The room suited us perfectly! The large living area with a sectional couch and kitchen area was ideal when we weren't exploring the city. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The dryer was not functioning efficiently, taking over two hours to dry each load, which was inconvenient as we wanted to do laundry before heading home. Additionally, the soaking tub took a long time to fill due to slow hot water, and the jets unexpectedly stopped after about five minutes and wouldn’t turn back on. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return!
