South Point Bowling Center is a great spot to enjoy a few games of bowling, with the only downside being occasional crowding from League players. However, the real highlight is the snack bar. The staff is friendly and efficient, serving up tasty snack bar fare like loaded nachos, hotdogs, and fresh donuts (rumored to be from Krispy Kreme). The BLT was a pleasant surprise in terms of taste. It's a convenient place to grab a quick bite before heading to the movies.
I recently dined at Stanton Social Prime in Las Vegas and it was hands down the best dining experience Iβve had in the city. The service was top-notch - the staff was attentive and our plates and glasses were never empty for more than a few seconds. The food was simply amazing, especially the French onion soup dumplings which I can't stop thinking about. The atmosphere was relaxed and romantic, making for a beautiful dining experience. I highly recommend trying the steak, it was exceptional. Our server, Elijah, was fantastic and provided great insights and recommendations from the menu. The Caesar salad was also delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Stanton Social Prime.
Love the atmosphere at Silverado Steakhouse, although the wall art could use a bit of a refresh. Celebrated my wife's birthday here and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They were prompt, attentive, and engaging - definitely a reason to return. The food was amazing, from the bone-in ribeye to the butterfly filet mignon and prime rib tacos. And the drinks were spot on! Highly recommend checking out this spot for a great dining experience. Enjoy! π€πΌπ
We visited the buffet at Luxor over Thanksgiving and opted for the buffet for our holiday dinner. The setup of the buffet was pleasant, although I would suggest placing the sides for a turkey dinner closer to the carving station for convenience. The buffet was quite crowded, with a long wait of over 25 minutes at the carving stations. However, the staff, including our server and those manning the buffet line, were friendly and efficient. I appreciated the personal touch from the chefs who approached me at the Salad Bar, although I did not share personal details with them. Despite some negative experiences at other restaurants in Luxor, we dined at the buffet twice. As a chef myself, I had ideas to share with the executive chef and his trainee, but unfortunately, I did not hear back from them after leaving my contact information. We have decided to change accommodations due to our overall dining experiences at Luxor. The buffet had a wide array of options, including ham, hand-carved beef, and turkey that we found to be tasty. However, I was disappointed by the quality of certain dishes, like the frozen mixed vegetables and stuffing. While there are plenty of choices at the buffet, attention to the quality and flavors of the food could use some improvement. The lobster raviolis stood out as a highlight among the selection.
Upon arriving at Whiskey Licker Up, we found a cozy spot by the windows with a great view of the activities down on Fremont. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, making it difficult to choose what to eat. We ended up ordering personal pizzas, which exceeded our expectations. This wasn't our first visit to the restaurant, and it certainly won't be our last. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff we encountered truly enhanced our dining experience.
Las Vegas South Premium Outlets is hands down the best mall shopping experience in Vegas. With over 140 stores offering everything from food to clothing to accessories, you can easily find major name brands at discounted prices. Almost every store or kiosk has special deals, and veterans can take advantage of discounts at many of the stores. If you're looking for a relaxing break and a leisurely stroll, I highly recommend visiting the south outlet mall.
Cyber Quest in Las Vegas is a fantastic arcade with good value. They offer a military package for 25 dollars, and their prize section is always well-stocked with plenty of rewards. From claw games for prizes to tickets for redemption, there is something for everyone. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. The games cater to all ages, and my kids always have a blast, ranging from 2-11 years old. It's a great spot to take the kids for a fun outing. Additionally, they offer deals and packages for kids with good grades, so don't forget to bring report cards during the school year. Highly recommended for a memorable gaming experience!
Had the opportunity to play Cascata again recently. It's undoubtedly one of the most picturesque courses in Nevada with an impressive clubhouse to match. The overall experience is top of the line, although I do wish the caddies weren't mandatory as it can slow down the pace of play. While it may be on the pricier side, the quality of the course makes it worth the fees β definitely a must-play for any golfer's bucket list.
I recently stayed at Elara by Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Vegas and it truly exceeded my expectations! The apartment-style room was spacious and comfortable, with a heavenly bed and a sleek, well-appointed bathroom. The separate living area was a great space to relax. The staff were welcoming and friendly, although their level of professionalism could have been better. The room was always immaculate, showing a clear commitment to cleanliness. One downside was the expensive parking fee, which I found to be higher than other hotels in the area. Overall, my stay at Elara was fantastic. The modern amenities, comfortable accommodations, and friendly staff made for a wonderful experience. While there is room for improvement in staff professionalism and parking fees, I would still highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay in Las Vegas.
