I called ahead to check on available lanes for open bowling, as I was excited to visit South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, upon arrival, there was chaos due to tournaments and league bowling, resulting in a waitlist of over an hour. This was disappointing and frustrating after being assured that plenty of lanes were available. It left me questioning the point of calling in advance if the information provided is inaccurate.

The lanes at South Point Bowling Center are in good condition, but the staff can be frustrating to deal with. Unfortunately, they do not accept reservations, which means that you may have to wait for a lane to become available. On multiple occasions, we were given an estimated wait time of 30 minutes, only to find that no numbers had been called and many lanes were unoccupied.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on the Alley Cat Lounge at South Point Bowling Center. It's a cool bar with friendly bartenders, and I was pleased to find that two drinks cost less than $10. A true hidden gem in Las Vegas.

South Point Bowling Center is a great spot to enjoy a few games of bowling, with the only downside being occasional crowding from League players. However, the real highlight is the snack bar. The staff is friendly and efficient, serving up tasty snack bar fare like loaded nachos, hotdogs, and fresh donuts (rumored to be from Krispy Kreme). The BLT was a pleasant surprise in terms of taste. It's a convenient place to grab a quick bite before heading to the movies.

South Point Bowling Center is definitely the top spot for bowling in Las Vegas. The lanes are well-maintained with daily oiling and they have a great deal of just a dollar per game on weekdays. It's a deal you won't find at other bowling centers, especially those in casinos. While some may be put off by the morning staff, rest assured that they are actually quite friendly and welcoming.

South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas is a pretty cool place! We've enjoyed going both super early at 7am for the $1 games and staying late until almost 2am. It can get busy, but it's always a lot of fun. My only wish is that they had bowling balls lighter than 8lbs. Overall, great fun! 🎳
