Area 15 | Las Vegas Attractions

Area 15 is free to enter and explore, but the various attractions do cost money.

A district of immersive experiences is the best way to describe Area 15 in Las Vegas, NV. Located just a short, one-mile drive from the Las Vegas strip, this entertainment complex is home to many unique games, sights, and activities you won't find anywhere else. Whether it’s your first visit to Las Vegas or you're a long-time local, Area 15 is a great place to spend the entire day or just a few hours.

Upon arrival, prepare to wander through the various worlds inside with mesmerizing realms. Activities include ax throwing, zip-lining, VR experiences, museums, and brain games, to name a few. Don’t worry about going hungry because there is plenty to eat here, too. Lastly, there is a one-of-a-kind boutique that is a great place to grab a few souvenirs.

The Oz Experience is an immersive VR experience that tests the boundaries between real and virtual. Guests love this 35-minute game that requires mysteries to be solved in teams of two or four. Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart is another fun interactive experience that features local and international artists. Participants are sent through secret portals, unexpected landscapes, and innovative art in a supermarket setting.

Another crowd-pleaser is the dueling axes which feature 18 throwing lanes. Guests can spend hours here on Friday and Saturday nights, but after 2 am, this space turns into an open-seating cocktail lounge.

Almost all activities at Area 15 are kid-friendly, but the Lost Spirits Distillery is a 21+ experience. It was named the “Willy Wonka of Booze” by Playboy Magazine for its immersive tour of spirits. Lost Spirits resembles a Disneyland-style amusement park for adults.

Be sure to secure an entry pass before your arrival, as they are required for all guests. Daytime entry is free; however, after 10 pm, access for those 21+ is $15. Save $5 on late-night entry by securing an entry pass before arrival.

Area 15 is an incredible location with plenty of interesting things to see and do throughout the property. Every area is captivating, even the restrooms with their long hallway. The best part is that we didn't have to pay anything to explore. It's not just for young people either - visitors of all ages will have a great time here. We ended up staying for about four hours and had a blast. I was worried about my vertigo, but there are enough activities that won't affect people with vertigo or epilepsy. On our next visit, we plan to purchase a package so my husband can experience everything I can't. In the meantime, I'll be content playing video games, shooting some pool, walking around, and enjoying some coffee and a cinnamon roll at the Conduit Cafe. Not trying their Caramel Macchiato would be a crime!

Area 15 is a truly unique and memorable experience, with a world reminiscent of Ratchet and Clank or the Stray video game. Walking around and exploring the area is free and entertaining, but the activities can add up in price. Packages are available, but can be pricy. The staff is friendly and willing to help with photos in the photogenic areas. The restaurant inside looks interesting with projected flames on the walls and there is a bar nearby under an illuminating tree. Additionally, there is a spray-on tattoo station with a variety of styles and various gift shops selling souvenirs, retro candy, toys, and rave gear. Area15 offers a lot to do and is a fun place to spend time.

My group of friends and I went to Area 15 on a Saturday morning and arrived around 11am. I suggest going early to avoid the crowds and the commotion of children. The main attraction for us was Omega Mart, and we had a fantastic time exploring it. The experience felt like there was a hidden story behind it all, with the theory that the woman was abducted by aliens and Omega Mart represents us in their world. We spent a good 2 hours going through Omega Mart, but if we had delved deeper into the storyline, it could have easily taken longer. Some of the rooms were interactive and engaging, while others were simply stunning and serene. I highly recommend making a trip to Area 15 and checking out Omega Mart. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely incredible experience at Area 15 in Las Vegas. There is an abundance of activities to enjoy. We purchased the 2 day pass which includes Omega Mart and it was definitely worth it. A must-see attraction, I would give it 10 stars if I could. The only downside was the high prices for food and drinks. After spending $124 per ticket, it would be nice if they were a bit more affordable. The Illuminarium space show was also a highlight for us, with fascinating images from satellites.

Area 15 in Las Vegas is a great place to explore and is fun for all ages and groups. They have tickets for certain entertainment and it is recommended to look in advance for the items you want to adventure in. There are other buildings that are amazing to see but we ran out of time. The Omega Mart seems to be one of the best places to check out. I totally recommend it for 100 percent enjoyment.
